Welcome to part seven of my family friendly travel series to Las Vegas!
If you missed parts one, two, three, four, five and six be sure to check them out!
Continuing on our quest for shows to take the girls to we were pleased to learn about THE RAT PACK IS BACK! We wanted something with high energy, music and comedy… and a show that wasn’t super late at night. I kept with my rules for taking kids to Vegas shows and made sure we were well fed before the show started.
We started off at the World Carnival Buffet. The Toddler begged me to take a picture with her plate of food. Seriously my kids LOVE buffets. There is something about them being able to pick their own food and get a little of everything. The dessert bar helps too, I’m sure!
I know water isn’t the coolest thing to drink when you are on vacation… but it was hot out and we needed to hydrate. Remember to drink your water in Vegas!
Not the best pictures… but the food was delish! I loved the roasted potatoes {upper right-hand corner}. And the guacamole hit the spot! We left full and ready for a good time!
I snuck a few quick pictures before the show started. They were so excited for it to start!
We all really enjoyed the show. The music was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I heard a Frank Sinatra song the next day and thought that the Frank Sinatra Tribute Singer was dare I say, just as good if not better? Loved his voice! Dean Martin played the part perfectly as did Joey and Sammy! It was a top-notch cast and the popcorn on the table was such a smart idea! The girls sat back and snacked on it while enjoying the show. They are still talking about it weeks later and The Toddler now sings “My Way” in the shower! The only word of caution was that the jokes were a bit mature for my girls… but not anything totally crazy and I felt comfortable with them hearing them. This is one of those shows that you will want to see again… it’s THAT good!
I was provided tickets to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
This looks great! We are going to see this next time in Vegas
