We are thrilled to be partnering with Blue Man Group in Las Vegas to visit their new theater to see and share about the show. 20160128_144045

We just got back from an awesome 72 hours in Las Vegas.

We love living so close to Las Vegas and it makes for an easy quick getaway. We average about a 5 hour drive with a stop in Barstow and that is just about the perfect distance. One of the main reasons we have chosen to take little vacations like this to Las Vegas with our kids for all these years is that there is so much to do. One of our favorite things is to see a show and this trip we did just that! We actually saw more than just a show, we had the opportunity to go behind the scenes with Blue Man Group before the show, see the show itself, and have a meet and greet with a Blue Man. It was awesome!

Since Blue Man Group has a new theater inside Luxor Hotel and Casino we decided to stay there for a couple nights. Emmy was so excited to be in the pyramid.

We checked into our room and the girls immediately started reading about the show!

Then we headed down to have dinner at Tacos & Tequila for dinner.

I heard that they serve up some awesome drinks… but we stuck with some yummy food including this delicious guacamole. They had tons of vegetarian options and were even able to make vegan tacos for Maddie and I.

T & T is located right across from the Blue Man Theater so it’s a perfect choice to enjoy before the show.

Before we knew it dinner was over and it was time for Behind The Blue Experience.

We got to try out some of the drums that are actually used by Blue Men! The girls and Pete had to be pulled away! They wanted to keep playing.

We had a couple minutes before the show started so we bought some drinks and popcorn.

We all couldn’t believe that the Blue Men we had seen just a little bit earlier with no makeup on were the same ones performing. It was fascinating! We all laughed, threw paper, and danced in our seats. We love the new theater because it feels like a much more intimate show. You feel so close to each Blue Man. With the audience participation, you feel like you have a bunch of new friends.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more incredible… we got to hang out with a Blue Man after the show. We joked and tried out our own Blue Man skills!

We can’t wait to go back and see the show again.
