This past weekend I starting planning for my big Christmas Eve party. This is my biggest party of the year and I always try to take it up a notch each year! I love making chocolate fondue for the party, but this year I have decided that I want to make something a little extra special! I love the flavors of chocolate and red wine so I decided to create this rich red wine infused chocolate dipping sauce for the adults to enjoy on Christmas Eve.

This dipping sauce is EXTREMELY easy to make and tastes like it took hours to make!

Red Wine Infused Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup red wine

Directions: Don’t laugh at how easy this is and be certain that I will not be letting my guests see how I make this. I want everyone to think it’s as difficult to make as the depths of flavors makes it seem!

  1. Add all the chocolate chips and the wine into a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Heat for 15 seconds at a time and stir in between heating until it’s the right consistency.
  3. Serve immediately.

I served it with marshmallows and fruit… but on Christmas Eve I’m also going to use it as the drizzle on top of our cheesecake in addition to being a dip! The flavor is out of this world good!

Happy Holidays!
