We are rocking summer this year!
We already started it with the ultimate playdate with Juicy Juice! We invited some friends over for some warm weather fun! But first, we headed over to Walmart to get some supplies like Juicy juice!
A couple days before the party we started getting ready!
The kids all love shaved ice but I don’t like all the added sugar that some come with so I {meaning my oldest daughter, lol} decided to make the kids shaved ice using Juicy Juice frozen into ice cubes! Talk about a HUGE HIT! This is going to be a new tradition for us each year to start off the summer. Since our party, we’ve already made it 5 more times!
Since the juice has to be frozen, it takes a little thought before you make the shaved ice. But we’ve just been filling the ice cubes back up as we use them. The cubes were frozen after 3 hours in the freezer so it’s totally possible to get this going in the morning and have it ready that afternoon.
We have a handy dandy shaved ice maker, but you can use a hand blender too!
BFF’s having a chat over some fruit juice shaved ice and enjoying a warm day before they get their creative juices {pun intended} flowing with some Crayola fun!
And then it was time for some fun!
We had the shaved ice station going all afternoon and then I set up stations for the kids to play with including Crayola Sidewalk Chalk, My First Crayola – Easy Grip egg-shaped crayons and Color Wonder overwraps!
These were perfect for little hands! They were really easy for her to hold and draw with!
The chalk was also a really big hit! We had some expert rainbow makers in the crowd!
They totally thought these were MAGICAL!
And my little one loved that she could share her favorite drink with all her buddies!
It was a perfect playdate and a great way to kick off summer!
This party was a lot of fun… but my heart melted when my little one asked if we could play together too! I even caught it on video!
I love all flavours of shaved ice. Looks like you guys had a fun playdate!
That’s the coolest and yummiest party I’ve ever seen. Kids really look like the shaved ice is the best treat on a hot day.

What a fun and safe idea for the kids to do in summer. I know my kids love stuff like this. Specially the shaved ice.
Great idea! I remember freezing juice boxes when I was a kid. We would cut the tops off and scoop out the frozen juice and it was awesome.
Wow. Looks like everyone had a great time. Juice in the ice cube sounds like a great idea. It can be done even on days that there are no parties. It’s perfect summer cooler!

I love how you turned it into shaved ice. Now I want a shaved ice maker so I can do this.
The apple juicy juice looks really great for kids party and also as part of regular meals since apple juice is really healthy.

This looks like a lot of fun. The kids would totally love to make some shaved ice, except we cut out drinking juices, but rather will try it with some favored water. The kids are so excited to have an actual driveway to draw with chalk on.
