Thank you so much to Hofsas House for the wonderful accommodations during our Carmel-By-The-Sea Vacation.

After the amazing drive up the coast in the Kia Cadenza, we arrived in Carmel-By-The-Sea for some relaxation and fun.

kia cadenza review

It had been years since the last time we were in Carmel when we much drove through with a 2 and 4-year-old in tow. This time was very different. This time we spent 2 nights enjoying all that The Village Of Carmel has to offer!

When researching places to stay, we were looking for a couple things. We wanted a hotel in Carmel-By-The-Sea, not Carmel {which is the outer area and farther from the fun}. Plus we wanted a place within walking distance to food and it had to have the character of Carmel. I wanted a place that was cozy and friendly. Hofsas House had everything we wanted and more!

The Hofsas House is a family owned Boutique Inn with more charm than I could ever write about. The heart and soul of the inn is the amazing owner Carrie Theis. She made us feel right at home and she went above and beyond to make sure that our visit and that of her other guests was everything we could have imagined!

We watched as she took the time to make sure that every guest had the ultimate getaway. She went through the map of Carmel-By-The-Sea with her guests and made suggests on restaurants {we were desperate for some good Italian one day and her suggestion was perfect}, places to visit and things to do. She’s also an expert in the history of this beautiful area and loves to share!

The lobby is inviting and sweet. It feels like you are staying at a good friends house as opposed to a hotel.

The Dutch theme is everywhere! And it’s very well done. When we were there a heat wave was coming through {which I’m told is very rare for the area} so the pool was very popular.

Our suite had 2 rooms and slept 4. We used these beds as couches when we were there, but they would be perfect for when we come back with the girls!

It also had a little kitchenette. That refrigerator came in very handy. Carmel-By-The-Sea has some amazing restaurants and I brought left overs back to the room each night.

The rooms are very comfortable and authentically decorated.

Our suite has two very spacious bathrooms.

And my favorite part! The balcony. There was even a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Learn more about The Hofsas House Inn by visiting their website, Facebook, and Twitter.
