After school time is always crazy busy but even crazier when you have tons of things to do.
Yesterday after school pick up I knew that the girls all needed a snack, but we literally had minutes before we had to be somewhere so we ran into CVS to stock up on some food for the road. I wasn’t looking for a sugary filled snack, but something that would give them real energy to get through the next few hours till it was time for dinner.
Everyone chose their favorite snack from the Gold Emblem Abound line of products because they have nutritious ingredients with great taste. Each one is free from artificial preservatives and flavors. I like that we can just grab and go without having to read the full label because we know ahead of time these are the healthier choices.
The Superfruit Snack Bars are my husbands favorite.
They satisfy a sweet tooth in a healthy way and they are really filling. I’ve been keeping them in the car for when we are on the go.
Little One wanted something salty and crunchy.
We found these Baked Rice Crisps were the perfect choice for her. She had the Sea Salt and Vinegar and I had the BBQ ones. They are really good! I also dipped them in hummus when we got home!
My middle daughter is really into the health qualities of nuts and dried fruit.
She was really happy to see so many options and she picked up a few packages to try. The Probiotic Trail Mix was very unique and tasted great!
My snack choice was a can of mixed nuts. Yum!
When I paid I used my ExtraCare loyalty program card.
I get extra discounts and rewards points that turn into CVS money back each quarter. I’ve been a member for years and I’ve saved thousands using my card. You an also get CVS cash back when you fill your prescriptions and have them scan your card. Learn more and join here.
