We have a little fruit stand close to my home that sells the most flavorful strawberries I’ve ever had. My little one would tell you that they are super juicy and that’s true, but even more importantly they have the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The vibrant red color doesn’t hurt either. We love to eat them just as they are… but sometimes it’s fun to make a healthy fruit into a decadent dessert. Just being real here.

When I was creating this masterpiece {once you taste it you will agree to this statement} I was focusing on easy and flavorful. Like so crazy easy that you can whip it up on a Friday night for the kids or make it the day before for a dinner party.

Ready? Set! Go!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tub of cream cheese
  • 1 jar of marshmallow creme
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla {Use less if yours is alcohol based and you are serving to kids. Alcohol based will have a strong alcohol taste}

Directions:

Whip the heavy whipping cream until it has a more solid than usual whipped cream consistency. {You will want the a stronger whip because it will break down slightly when you add the other ingredients… but don’t whip it too much or you will get butter!} Add cream cheese, marshmallow creme and vanilla to the whipped cream. Stir well. Chill for a few minutes to a few hours and enjoy! This is awesome on fresh fruit or squished in between homemade chocolate chip cookies to make a cookie sandwich. If you want to be really daring you could even eat it right off the spoon. I promise not to tell.

Enjoy!

  • This looks amazing! I am trying super hard to stick to my diet and I can honestly say if this was sitting next to me, I’d be in HUGE trouble!

  • This fruit dip is delicious! I made it for my family for our Memorial Day picnic and everyone loved it. I cut up strawberries and cantaloupe, and the whole tray of fruit was gone, along with the dip!

    I also made some for my kids, who loved eating it with bananas cut up. It was just like a banana cream cheese cake. YUM!

    Thanks for sharing the recipe!

    • I’m so happy they loved it! It’s addicting that’s for sure! Just the perfect amount of sweetness!

  • Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and have a fabulous weekend.

  • Can you be more specific about the amounts? What size jar of marshmallow, there are two options? How large a “tub” of cream cheese or will a standard block of cream cheese work? Thanks, I can’t wait to try this.

    • Sure! I’ve only seen the standard size around here for the marshmallow fluff… I think it’s about 6-8 oz. I don’t have one in front of me to check. The tub of cream cheese is the round tub, again maybe 6-8oz… you can totally use a block too. I’ve made this with less cream cheese and at times with less marshmallow, both times because I used some of them for other recupes and it still tasted awesome…
