We are going back to school shopping and we are using Savings Catcher to do it. This post is a sponsored post partnership so that I can share all about this new program.
Remember last week when we headed out to Walmart to do some back to school shopping and used Savings Catcher?
I’m back with the results! We bought school supplies, food for lunches, socks and a whole bunch of other fun things. I wanted to really put Savings Catcher to the test. I thought the concept of it was pretty cool. I love saving money, but I just don’t have time to compare prices and shop around so this sounded like the perfect solution to me… but would it work?
This was a sampling of our cart… it was pretty much all filled up when we left.
After we came back home I entered my receipt on the Savings Catcher website and then I got this email conformation that they received my receipt and that they were comparing prices.
And then two days later I got this email:
There were a couple prices that were lower elsewhere to the tune of $1.75! This makes me realize even more how great the prices are already at Walmart. I love that I got even lower prices and I didn’t have to do anything except enter my receipt information when I got home. That’s my kind of savings program!
With the click of one button I was able to transfer that savings to a Walmart eGift Card to use either online or in store.
I will definitely be using Savings Catcher again.
We shop at Walmart all the time so I’m excited about this program, because it is a really easy way to save even more money off of their already low prices.
That sounds like an awesome app! I don’t shop at Walmart that often, but I will have to use this when I do.
Oh wow! What a great service. I love that Walmart stands behind their prices this way.
Savings Catcher is pretty cool! I love it, it’s like the best thing they have come up with. It’s just a more convenient price match. But you don’t have to carry ads around.
I love the idea of this app! I do not shop to much at Walmart but when I do I will be using it.
We noticed this in the store the other day while we were there. The cashier tried explaining it, but wasn’t too familiar with it herself as it was so new. Need to still scan the receipt to try it out!
I’ve been meaning to do this! Thanks for the info. I’ll be Savings Catch-ing from now on 🙂
Wow I had no idea they did this, how awesome! I will be using this in the future for sure, thanks for sharing!
It’s an interesting idea but I hate that its a gift card. They lock you into coming back to Walmart when you paid cash. I appreciate the savings but in the end, I feel like it’s a catch 22. That said, I’d probably take advantage of savings catcher.
I actually just downloaded this tonight onto my husband’s iphone! So excited to start using it!
That app looks very helpful. Love saving money!
That is a great app! I am going to DL it now!
Wow! I love this! I never knew Walmart would do this! Great idea!
what an awesome app! I am totally downloading it.
We are loving the savings catcher in our household. In three weeks, we have accumulated over $20 bucks off our normal grocery bill. I like that I am getting the benefits of price matching without worrying with gathering the ads and separating things at check out.
Walmart Savings Catcher sounds wonderful! i’m totally going to download the app!
How frigging cool! I need to try this.
You know what, I scanned two receipts a couple of weeks ago and didn’t receive any notifications about any cash back, but just opened the app after reading your post and found I’m .48 cents richer. Walmart tends to be our go to store for in the rush items. I’m going to have to do this more often!!
I love this app. I always shop at Walmart so I have been getting a ton of saving from just shopping like I always do.
The savings catcher sounds great-but I don’t have the right equipment to use it unfortunately.
Sounds like a great app! I’m all for discounts and rebates!
I love this because I am bad at finding the prices at other stores.
Savings is always a plus! School shopping can be high priced!
I am lucky, for the time being, that I don’t have to worry about Back to School shopping too much. I will be sure to share this, though, since I have so many friends with little ones in school. Cheers!
I’ve never heard of this. Savings Catcher is fantastic! I wish we hAd a Wal Mart here.
It’s already time for back school, it’s amazing how much closer it’s getting.
It’s a nice feeling to be able to save. We have lots of stuff at home I regret buying them in excess.
Sounds easy and very beneficial. I really think it’s a great idea!
Sounds like an excellent app! There are no Walmarts in Ecuador, so I haven’t used the Savings Catcher or shopped at Walmart either.
Love this…I’m going to sign up right away. My husband will be thrilled.
I do most of my shopping at Walmart so this will come in handy! I need to remember to use it!
Wow – $1.75 is a nice savings catch…I cannot wait until this comes along to my neck of the woods.
That is one brilliant app! love that we can save money with them doing all the hard work and we simply shop =)
Wow, that’s a great app! Love apps that are easy to use and save you money 🙂
This is great! I will have to start using it!
What a great program! and I am so glad you tested it out for us so we know it really works!
that is very cool to help you save some bucks 🙂 I just went to WalMart the other day too to buy my son’s school supplies. I wish I know this site before.
