We are going back to school shopping and we are using Savings Catcher to do it. This post is a sponsored post partnership so that I can share all about this new program.
We started our back to school shopping this past weekend.
This is the absolute latest I’ve ever started back to school shopping. I normally start searching the ads in July going store to store to buy our supplies and to make sure I get the best deal on each of them. This year there just wasn’t time to do that and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get everything we needed without have to spend a fortune! I also have a slight {read that to mean huge} obsession with school supplies and I stock up big time every year at this time so that we have enough to last us all year. Pressure I tell you, I was feeling the pressure!
I remembered hearing about Savings Catcher at Walmart and decided to give it a go!
Walmart prices are truly unbeatable and with Savings Catcher you know you are getting the best price without having to drive from store to store and compare all the sales ads.
Here is what I learned about Savings Catcher…
It compares your receipt to advertised prices from top stores in your area, and if it finds a lower advertised price, you get the difference on an eGift Card. All you have to do is enter your receipt and we do the work for you. No more shopping around town and no need to ad match.
Sounds super easy to me and I need easy right about now. I already love Walmart’s low prices so I’m going to give Saving Catcher a try and I’ll be back soon with the results! You can learn more about Savings Catcher here.
My husband works for Walmart’s Home Office and this the Savings Catcher has been a huge hit in the home town and test areas. I’m so thrilled they have finally released it for everyone to try. (He works remotely from Louisiana so we haven’t had the chance to see how it works here yet)
I can’t wait to see how much you saved and can’t wait to see how much I’m going to save on groceries and gas!
I can’t believe that it’s already time to go back to school for the kids, the summer went by so fast!
I admit, I try to avoid shopping at WalMart just because I know I’m going to walk out of there with stuff I don’t need. But, that app does look pretty handy.
I heard about Wal-Mart’s savings catcher a couple of months ago.glad controlled out, I don’t shop there often but interested on using it when I do.
LET the school shopping commence! I’m SOOO ready for my boys to go back to school! LOL They have been driving me nuts! Seriously though, where did the summer go?
Had no idea that Wal-mart ran this sort of program. Being able to get all your supplies at one location should really make back to school shopping easier.
I love the Wal-Mart Savings Catcher app. It’s a great way to make sure I save all the money I can.
Those are all such awesome tips because I know how expensive back to school shopping can be. I love shopping at Walmart.
I’ve heard about this program it a little complex. Thanks for clearing it up a little.
I am so happy to not have to back to school shop for the first time in so many years. I finally finished my degree, so I am done buying school supplies until I start my masters!
I just saw a commercial for this! Sounds so exciting to make sure you got the best price
Oh that’s such an innovative app for a retail store. I wish we can also have that (and fast wi-fi/3g connection) in the Philippines!
I love Walmart for back to school shopping. Cant beat the prices.
Oh I am so going to try this out. I’ll download the app this weekend!
What a great deal! Sounds like they will be getting some good back-to-school business!
There’s something about back to school shopping that makes me giddy. It’s silly because I haven’t been a kid for a long time, but I love shopping for school supplies. 🙂
I love buying supplies at Walmart. The prices are great and fantastic selection.
Shopping at Walmart is smart for when it’s time to go back to school, they usually have great deals.
