I love a good summer party!

I was so excited to invite some friends over for some warm weather food and fun and to show them the cool new Outdoor Oasis line from Pier 1 Imports! I invited 6 friends over for some snacks and cool drinks. We had lots of fruits, veggies. and dips. And to drink we enjoyed ice water and lemonade. It was a very quick party and I’m so glad that we were all able to get together for a few minutes on a busy weekend!

I’m totally into before and after pictures and you won’t believe the transformation!

Since I was having the party outside, I started by cleaning the main “showcase” table. This is it in its normal everyday look. You won’t believe how it looked afterward!

When I went to Pier 1 to shop for the party, I was so excited to see all the vibrant colors and patterns to choose from. 

I set the table and started to bring out the food just as the guests were arriving.

Since it was later in the afternoon there was a cool breeze coming through that cooled us off on an otherwise warm day.

Everyone started to slip in and they rotated through the tables.

The Pier 1 decorated one was the favorite! A couple of my guests even asked if they could take home their plates! The lower plate was the biggest hit! It was so versatile and really showed off the top plate. And they are all made out of durable plastic material… even though they look like they are much more delicate!

We had a great time and we all decided it was a great way to start off summer!

Since everyone was having such a good time, I decided to bring the snacks to them! We started with fresh fruits! Before they even arrived I put the grapes on the platter for anyone who wanted some. Then I brought around veggies like sliced carrots and ranch. Next up was sliced fruit! Drinks were free flowing and I made sure to top everyone’s cups off!
