We are setting sail flight on another adventure tomorrow morning, so I’m in full blown packing mode. And by packing mode, I mean thinking of everything to bring and all the fun we are going to have.

These days when it actually comes to packing I dedicate an hour before we leave to throwing it all together. As long as the clothes are all washed before hand, it comes down to grabbing this and that, and piling it in the suitcase, and then heading out the door. I know that sounds pretty scaled down, but that’s really what we do now.

One thing we always make sure to pack first is snacks.

This past year we’ve sat on the runway twice, for extended periods of time, and circled for quite an long amount of time on another flight. Neither of these are things you want to have to do… and especially not when you or your family are hungry.

For tomorrows trip we are bringing goodnessknows snack squares.

That way we won’t be hungry no matter what delays we run into (hopefully none!). They are a delicious and amazingly satisfying snack that is crafted with the goodness of whole nuts, real fruits, toasted oats and dark chocolate with no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

These awesome goodnessknows snack squares are available in three tasty flavors:

  1. Cranberry, almond, dark chocolate– Packed with roasted almonds and toasted rolled oats with a hint of natural sweetness, this combination leaves you feeling happily satisfied.
  2. Apple, almond & peanut, dark chocolate—Crunchy peanuts, toasted almonds and tangy apples are the perfect combination for snack time, a treat post-meal or during your favorite indoor or outdoor activity.
  3. Peach & cherry, almond, dark chocolate–Sweet peaches and cherries accompanied by wholesome toasted almonds and dark chocolate to create a satisfying crunch.

My favorite one is the cranberry, almond, dark chocolate.

I’m looking for any hint of holiday cheer already and the cranberries did it for me. It’s delicious. The girls and Pete couldn’t pick a favorite… they thought they were all great.

snacks on planes for kids

Now that goodnessknows is available nationally, I plan to stock up in each city we find ourselves in. They make a great snack on the go, on a plane and in the car, or just at home when you want something tasty to eat.
