Thank you to Pala Mesa Resort for inviting us to enjoy a day at the resort and for compensating this post.
Some of the most exciting getaways are the ones close to home.
When Pete and I were first married we lived right outside the Pala Mesa Golf Resort in Fallbrook, CA. On the weekends we would walk over to the resort, and have a leisurely breakfast. A wonderful breakfast in a beautiful setting…
Years have passed and the Pala Mesa Resort is still just as lovely!
Situated on 205-acres, the California Ranch-style hotel is located between Temecula wine country, and the scenic North County region of San Diego. For out of town guests, traveling to the resort is very convenient as it is minutes off highway 15.
The resort features space for executive meetings, conferences, weddings, catered events and championship golf pool & Jacuzzi, children’s playground, tennis courts and fitness center!
Championship Golf
The grounds are beautifully manicured. Pete really enjoys playing golf and would love to do so more often… so we are going to try to make more time for him to play a couple times a month, especially since we live so close to the resort.
Pala Mesa Resort is recognized as one of the most beautiful golf courses in San Diego and renowned as one of Southern California’s most challenging 18-hole courses, Par 72.
The Pro Shop staff provides monthly golf clinics and The Sandwedge Bar, located near the pro shop offers handcrafted sandwiches, refreshing beverages, a variety of beers.
The Aqua Terra Restaurant
We really enjoy the delicious meals offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Locals have known about this great restaurant and visiting guests are always excited to enjoy the great food! There is indoor and outdoor seating with weekly entertainment (live music), surrounded by panoramic views of the hills and lush golf course make it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal.
The menu offers sensational seafood, home-cooked dishes and a made to order sushi bar. The patio seating is the perfect place to relax by the fire pit and enjoy the entertainment, craft cocktails, and delicious wine. The are special meal events with wine parring and even an Elvis impersonator!
The resort is also a great option for meetings and events.
With more than 17,600 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor meeting space, a 3,685-square-foot Ballroom (which can be divided into five separate meeting rooms) and state-of-the-art audio/visual/Internet equipment (with on-site dedicated staff) there is even an executive boardroom for smaller meetings. There is a culinary staff devoted solely to the needs of catering and banquet requests, plus high-speed wireless internet throughout the meeting rooms, public spaces, and guest rooms.
The gracious staff has hospitality at the center of every moment which I learned all about when speaking to Ripley Vaughn and Mark Mittlehauser.
The Weddings at Pala Mesa Resort are very well known for a very good reason.
They are stunning. I attended a wedding a few years back at Pala Mesa and it was one of the most gorgeous wedding I’ve ever been to. Every touch was perfect and the food was some of the best wedding food I’ve ever had. They offer personalized indoor and outdoor venues and the option to have both an indoor and outdoor event. The wedding I attended had the ceremony outdoors surrounded by white roses in the garden, and the reception was in the outdoor tent. It was a very memorable evening!
Pala Mesa Resort offers customizable wedding planning for ceremonies and receptions, as well as special accommodation packages for your guests. Venues include: Antique Bell Tower, Rose Gardens, a 30-foot waterfall, all nestled in a secluded cliff terrace surrounded by beautiful, towering pine trees!
We really enjoy the Pala Mesa Resort and we are so excited for the renovation that the resort will undergo in early 2015.
Renovations will include complete renovation of the restaurant, hotel rooms modernization and an update to the meeting space! Thankfully everything will be done in stages so that we can still enjoy the restaurant and hotel during the construction.
I can’t wait to see the changes coming and I’ll be sure to share with you all as they progress!
To celebrate this exciting time at the resort I was given a Coupon code/Promo/Discount code for a hugely discounted room rate!
Enter code: OFER2 and the room rate will be available anytime midweek, at $69 per night. That would be perfect for a quick getaway for some relaxation and golfing!
