Oh, how we LOVE the beach!
On our Florida Tour, one consideration that was always in the back of my mind was to see as many beaches as possible. I knew before we even started that this wouldn’t be our last Tour of Florida, in fact, I’m already planning our next visit. When I looked on the map, Hollywood Beach jumped out at me. I’m still not sure why… maybe it’s the California girl in me that felt the familiarity with the name or something else, but either way, I am so happy that it did. We ended up loving the area.
When I saw that there was a new resort in the area, Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and that it was themed after all things Jimmy Buffett, I felt like it was meant to be. I know I shared that I’m a total Parrot Head in the posts that I wrote while we were there, but you guys, I’m a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, and I’m even listing to his music right now. Cheeseburger in Paradise in case you were wondering…
Pete likes his music, as do the girls since they were raised listening to it too… the girls that is, not Pete. But none of them would call themselves a huge fan like I do… and they still loved the resort too. It has the perfect sprinkle of Jimmy Buffett so that those of us that love it will find bits of it everywhere you look, but those on the outside will just appreciate the fun, beachy feel.
The first impression of the resort is this beautiful lobby.
You know Emmy always goes for the welcome drink and fruit infused water is one of her favorites. I love that she asked if it had alcohol before she tried it. This kid has seen so many awesome resorts with rum punch welcomes that she asks questions others wouldn’t think to.

While our luggage was being brought up to our suite, we took a little tour of the resort.

The gorgeous beach! This beach has such a great feel to it. It is relaxing, very family friendly and not at all over crowded or as energetic as Miami.
When you stay as a guest, you also get two beach loungers and an umbrella. You just walk out to the beach attendants, and they set it all up.
Back inside the resort, there is an adult-only rooftop pool with a bar.

On the other side was our favorite pool wrapped with private cabanas. We enjoyed one for the day, and I just wish we had more days to lounge in one.

We also spent an hour on the FloRider. So much fun!!!
The resort is right on the boardwalk so the location couldn’t be better! I can’t live without Italian food, and there were so many choices on the boardwalk.
Every night they have live music too. They set up chairs, and there is space for dancing. This area just has such a great vibe full of people taking their children on vacation and couples off on a getaway together.
Back in our suite, we were blown away by this view!
There were ocean and pools every which way we looked and a sweet treat welcome. We also had the opportunity to look at their other accommodations. We stayed in a two bedroom, ocean front sunrise suite and it was magnificent. We can’t say enough great things about it. It was perfect for our family, and the decor was my favorite ever. As we were leaving, I looked at Pete, and he totally read my mind. He asked if I “wanted to redecorate and paint our bedroom” to match the resort and the rooms. That is exactly what I was thinking. When we came home from Turks & Caicos the first time, we repainted our whole house because we loved the colors there too. That is the sign of a good vacation!
This two bedroom suite is a favorite with families and with friends traveling together for its comfort, privacy, and inspiring direct oceanfront views. With over 1,300 square feet, this spacious retreat offers a welcoming living space with lounge area, and dining table. Contemporary furnishings with a soothing color palette of sand, sea and sky, reflecting a coastal-luxe atmosphere. One bedroom offers two queen beds and the other with one king bed, all with luxurious, all-white linens and premium bedding creating the perfect setting for further relaxation after another day in paradise. Each room offers a refreshing bathroom with a large vanity and over-sized shower, which is highlighted with sea glass-inspired tile work.
Back to seeing the other rooms, they are all this awesome. The guest rooms are all styled the same, and I love that.

The common area that connected our rooms featured a family room area, kitchenette and dining room table.
The kid’s room had a large bathroom and two queen beds.
I could have lived here forever and never wanted to leave. The balcony was my favorite spot no matter what time of day it was… but sunrise with coffee and sunset with my family enjoying the few and listening to the live music in the background was such a treat!

We are total beach fanatics, so any resort right near the water is a hit with us. Of course, the stunning balcony and boogie boarding are added bonuses too!

What a beautiful place to stay! The resort seems to have everything you need and since it is on the boardwalk, you wouldn’t even have to drive anywhere. Leave me on the balcony all day and I’d be happy! Lovely!
This resort looks amazing, how could one not fall in love with it. The fall flip flop is really cool. I need to check this out, I want to take the family to Florida before the year is over.
We were just there a few months ago! It is a really nice resort. It rained the whole time we were there, so we didn’t get out onto the beach. I hope to make it back soon.

That sounds like such an amazing time. I would love to be able to go to Florida sometime. I have been talking about it with my husband and we hope that we can go someday. I think my girls would really enjoy it as well.

That looks like somewhere we need to be and fast. I love the musical influence without being cheesy in any way. My music loving family would get a kick out of it. I think the gorgeous pools would also be a big selling point.

It looks so beautiful there. We usually go to Florida at least once a year but we stay at a timeshare. Maybe I might look into this if we go on a date when the timeshare isn’t available.
