Welcome to Trump International Beach Resort Miami, an upscale family-friendly enclave on Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach. Independently owned and operated, this Forbes Four-Star oceanfront retreat is refined yet relaxed, with services and amenities today’s travelers cherish. Spacious, stylishly furnished guest rooms and suites, a full-service spa, an oceanfront grotto-style swimming pool and poolside cabanas, a complimentary children’s program, 22,000-square-feet of indoor/outdoor event space – even 12 types of pina coladas.
Have you ever stayed at a hotel after hearing about it for years?
We did at the Trump Miami International Beach Resort. Anytime I mentioned that Miami was on our travel list everyone told us we had to stay at Trump. Every single person we talked to. I couldn’t imagine what the buzz was all about that made everyone love this resort, and then we stayed there. Now I’m the one telling everyone they have to experience the Trump Miami themselves. It’s that awesome!
Let’s start with the beach.
The beach at Trump Miami International Beach Resort is called Sunny Isles and it is like a locals secret, that few get to enjoy. The access to the beach doesn’t have easy outside access which keeps it so family friendly. It was never crowded while we were there and there is so much to do right outside the steps of the hotel. We went jet skiing, kayaking, and enjoyed relaxing on the beach on lounge chairs with umbrellas that the beach attendants have set up. Everything you could imagine in a dream beach vacation is here for you.
The Food
Three words….fresh, creative, and delicious! I can’t say enough good things about the food at Trump Miami. We had multiple occasions to try the cuisine in multiple restaurants at the resort, and each time we were very impressed. Since we are vegetarian with two vegans we don’t fit a cookie cutter mold of the typical american eater, and Trump Miami was totally okay with that. They understand that people are eating different these days and they welcome those clients. They have dedicated internal menus to accommodate and thrill all dietary concerns. Gluten free? Vegan? Vegetarian? Dairy Free? No problem! The chef’s are empowered to please all palates and go above and beyond. Their more traditional fares are well known in the area with locals flocking to their restaurants for both special occasions, date night, and family meals. One thing that all the food we ate had in common was that it was the freshest food we have ever had at a hotel, and that each meal was delicious and satisfying with unique attributes.
Knowing that we travel with children who can sometimes have picky palates, Trump Miami is always ready to keep them happy with kid favorites like chicken nuggets. It was great being able to all have our favorites at one spot.
Room service was just as good as table service in the restaurants, and I highly recommend utilizing their in room dining options. The breakfast buffet each morning was very memorable too. Pete and Ashley said that the omelette station was the best they have ever had and we all loved their signature infused fruit and smoothies.

The Pools
There are two pools for guests to enjoy. We had so much fun in both of them, even spending a whole day in the huge, luxury private cabanas by one of them. This is a family friendly poolside paradise!
The rooms and suites
We stayed in a two bedroom suite with expansive ocean views. These accommodations are perfect for families. The exact room we were in was room #2409S, a Two Bedroom Suite Oceanfront.
“Your Miami home away from home, our exquisite 1,626-square-foot Two Bedroom Suites feature two private furnished balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal Waterway. A master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite master bath with double vanity, glass-enclosed shower and deep-soaking tub; a second bedroom features two queen beds and an en-suite bath . A separate open floorplan living/dining room is furnished with a sleeper sofa, dining table for four and fully equipped kitchen with stove, double-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.”
The layout was great and the suite, while very luxurious, was also very comfortable and family friendly. Every need you could image having was satisfied with all the offered amenities in our suite. Our favorite features were the ocean view, two balconies, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. It felt like we were right above the water (we were) and every which way we looked we had views of the bright blue waters below. Having the full kitchen meant that we could make meals if we wanted or just have snacks on hand for the kids even if they got hungry at 2am. The washer/dryer saved us over and over again when Emmy wanted to wear her same swim suit 10 times a day. It was especially handy knowing that we were away from home for three weeks!
The amenities
Tennis courts, spa, specialty concierge, coffee in the lobby every morning, kids club (Planet Kids) and more! When you are staying at Trump Miami, you never need to leave the resort. During our three day stay, we were still not able to experience everything there was to offer. Emmy LOVED the kids club and the leaders of the club were highly trained to makes sure that all of the children enjoyed the activities. They had amazing race like competitions, face painting, water balloon fun, and much more.

The resort also features special touches at each and every turn for both adults and children alike. We all loved the water sports on the beach and Pete had a wonderful experience at the spa too. He was feeling really sore from all the workouts he was doing at different CrossFit Box’s and the onsite fitness center on our trip, and a sports massage at Trump Miami really helped his muscles feel better quickly.

Trump Miami International Beach Resort is the place for luxury family vacations in Sunny Isles Miami! We were absolutely spoiled with their VIP treatment of their guests. We will definitely be back!
This looks like a fantastic resort, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been to several “resorts” that were really just glorified hotels. This is suitably epic. I love it!
This is where my family is going to stay the next time we head down for a Florida vacation. This place has everything, and it’s all so high end. It’s absolutely beautiful.

I have stayed at a few hotels that I had heard about for years. For the most part I wasn’t disappointed.

It looks like a slice of heaven! We were at the beach this week, and it was insanity. Granted it’s been over 100 degrees, but it’s hard to relax when there are throngs of people. I love the privacy of the beach.
