I love discovering new toys that encourage imagination. Now that the gift giving season is among us I am so happy to be able to share this awesome gift idea via this sponsored post.

Little one is totally into building things right now.

She has a very imaginative mind and comes up with things I never could have. We recognize her love of creating and building so we are being very strategic in what play products we bring into our home. We want them to be something that really encourages her and that looks good aesthetically.  We found that and more in the Childcraft Toddler Multi-Purpose Play Table with Building Block Top from School Specialty.

My first impression of the play table was how well it was constructed.

Having had two other kiddos before The Little One, we have seen our fair share of play tables and they are normally pretty wobbly. Not this one. It was also VERY easy to put together. Pete has it all set up and ready for play within 15 minutes. If you are looking for a holiday gift that you don’t have to spend all night putting together for the reveal in the morning, this would be a great choice.

The top has a multipurpose board.

This can be used for building blocks, coloring, trains or a number of other uses. We haven’t even had a chance to try out any other uses because Little One is constantly building on it with the blocks. We did clean it up for a moment and put all the blocks into the boxes below on the shelves and I thought that was a great feature. We plan to put blocks in some, drawing and coloring stuff in others and then maybe some toy cars in the last, just so she has everything she needs for all types of play right there.

Here is some more info on the Childcraft Play Table with Building Block Top and Building Block Set:

Childcraft Toddler Multi-Purpose Play Table with Building Block Top

It is 36 W x 26 D x 18 H in. It’s a really good size too. Not too big and bulky at all. It fit perfectly in her room.  The raised edges are one of my favorite features. They run along the top and keep pieces from slipping off the table. It comes with a removable building base measuring 23-5/8 in W x 34-5/8. Works great with trays or baskets sized 12 in L x 7-3/4 in W x 5-1/4 in H, sold separately. Simple screw assembly required; hardware and instructions are included. We found it very easy to put together and she was playing with it in minutes.

Childcraft Pre-School Building Brick Set

This basic set of 400 colorful preschool size building bricks are ideal for children 2 years and above. They can be used independently to foster imaginative play and enhance fine motor skills or added to a collection of similar building systems.

Here is a video we made to showcase it all in action:
