Roadside assistance is important to have and I’m happy to be talking about it today via this sponsored post.
This past week my daughter and I set off to spend some time together.
I feel like it’s so important to get some one-on-one time with each of the girls. We run some errands, get something to eat and just talk. It’s amazing how everyday life can be special when you have someone special to spend time with. Even though we were taking care of things that we normally do each week it was really fun! We talked and laughed and made some big life goals. After we finished almost everything on our to do list we decided to buy some groceries last.
That’s when the trouble started.
We loaded all of the bags into the car and when I went to start the car I heard a click, click, click instead of the normal roar of my engine starting. I was totally confused. I checked to make sure that all the doors were closed and that nothing was on and I tried it again. Same clicking sound. I was so upset. I tried calling my husband but he was in a meeting with his phone on silent.
I was totally unprepared for this to happen.
I bought my car new in 2012 and I’ve had no problems with it at all so this was not something that I ever thought I’d have to deal with. I was wishing that I had roadside assistance, but I didn’t. After waiting 2 hours and paying $69 we were finally back on our way home and I had a goal to sign up for roadside assistance the next day. I wasn’t going to let that happen ever again.
Last time I had my oil changed at Walmart I remember seeing AutoVantage Roadside Assistance on the counter.
The next day I went to Walmart and found it in the same place. It was by the automotive area cashier. Have you ever needed roadside assistance?
I’ve been compensated for this post with sample product and payment. All opinions and experiences are my own.
Road side assistance is a great gift to give someone. I have had Road side assistance for years and it has come in handy so many times.
I have never used roadside assistance. However, I never know when I may need it, especially on road trips!
I have been in a car that ran into problems and needed roadside assistance. We waited hours for help to come in the middle of the highway. No fun so I agree that drivers should look into purchasing a roadside assistance plan.
Thank you so much Heather for sharing this information! We used to only use AA for years. 4 months after NOT renewing, my car broke down! I’ve been looking for an alternative, and this one will fit so much more nicely in my budget!
I have heard mixed reviews of AA service, my family has it and hey swear by it then others have had issues with towing, that it only covers a tow within so many miles. That would be something I would want to pay attention to with any plan, “How far way they cover a tow from”
We really need to look into this. We don’t have roadside assistance but it would come in handy.
I have needed help before, stuck in the middle of no where on the side of the Interstate in a broken down car. I could have used this.
Without a doubt, this is a must-need. We love taking road trips. We should look into this.
Roadside assistance is a necessary thing, especially when you have kids! No one wants to be stranded with little ones.
This is the first thing I bought when I got a car. It is so important to have!
AutoVantage sounds like a great service! I think this is definitely a must have!
This sounds like it can be very helpful indeed especially if you do a lot of traveling. I know people that have had to use it before. Thanks for sharing.
We have road side through our insurance. This seems to be alot cheeper and have allot more services provided.
Great idea to have as extra protection! You never know when something might happen!
I’ve never heard of this before! I mean obviously I know about AAA, but this is a worthy contender. You had me at auto and home lock out assistance!
I had thought about road side assistance before, but so many family and friends have AAA for their cars which covers any car they are in. This means I can use that just about any time … but it would be nice to have my own form of protection. Nice!
I’ve never heard of this company before for roadside assistance. But seeing as how we just cancelled our AAA since their costs were insane, I should probably tell my hubs so he can look into it a bit further.
I am the worst with road side assistance! That is when I pray the hubby or my brother are around 🙂 Possibly I should invest, thanks for sharing.
I have never bought road side assistance before but I can definitely see its benefits.
that looks so simple to join. Such ease of mind to know your covered too
What a great service. I love the security of having roadside assistance. This looks very easy to join.
I really have no idea when it comes to a car but the road side assistance looks really great 🙂
This is awesome! I didn’t know you could get roadside assistance from AutoVantage!
