This was our last FULL Day at the Velas Vallarta luxury all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Thanks to Velas Vallarta for hosting our stay so we can feature this beautiful resort!

Like all great vacations to Mexico, our morning started at the beach and continued with an equally wonderful breakfast!

I loved how accommodating everyone at Velas Vallarta was. When I sat down and ordered breakfast potatoes, beans, chips and guacamole with cranberry juice on ice, I half expected to see a blank stare back at me… because it is an odd breakfast order. But, instead I heard, “absolutely, what else can I get you”? Every guest here is made to feel special and that is why so many people come back year after year!

After breakfast, Emmy headed to the kid’s club.

Pete and I had a breezy morning working right here overlooking the ocean!

Then it was time for lunch. Whoa!

Em said this was the best ravioli alfredo she has ever had!

When traveling with kids it is so nice to know that the little ones are happy with the food options and the teens and adults are equally happy. Kid-friendly + delectable cuisine for adults = the perfect combination!

Emmy CLEARLY was having a GREAT time!

I had to drop this picture in here too. Look at these desserts!

As you can see in our video, the grounds here at Velas Vallarta are pristine.

They are lush with tropical plants and trees and sprinkled with wildlife like koi fish! Kids can even feed them!

Back in our suite, we really enjoyed the decor and the layout.

The rooms were oversized and you can’t possibly beat the views!

The patio balcony was the place to be, especially as the sun started to set.

Grab a drink and some snacks (or call room service) and have the best time relaxing and enjoying the final glimpses of the sun. Each night we were in Puerta Vallarta, the sunset put on a grand show with flashes of orange, yellow, and red.

Each night was my favorite!

What is your favorite thing to do on vacation?
