Ready for another installment of family fun in Las Vegas? Today I’m sharing about a fun and budget friendly activity for families in Las Vegas. Thank you so much to the Adventuredome for hosting us on a day of family fun.
Every year when we visit Las Vegas as a family we always spend a day at the Adventure Dome.
Located right next to {attached to really} Circus Circus at the North end of the strip is the Adventure Dome. Within the dome is a theme park for kids {and adults} of all ages. We’ve been on almost all the rides and this year we decided to try out the popular roller coaster El Loco.
El Loco is a crazy-fun roller coaster that takes riders on twists, turns, and drops. Riders will love the 90 foot ascend before dropping over and under to experience a 1.5 vertical-G.
Everyone in our family that rode it loved El Loco and the little one is hoping to get to try it next year. She is just a few inches away from being 48 inches tall, which is what you have to be to ride El Loco.
Don’t feel bad for the Little One though, she was okay with missing El Loco for another year because of all the other awesome rides she could go on!
We viewed the 4-D movies 4 times each!
They both are about 10 minutes of viewing time each and they rotate between a Dora and Diego adventure and a Sponge Bob one. Both were adorable. Would you believe that it was our first time seeing Sponge Bob? We thought it was really funny!
The Adventure Dome is all indoors and climate controlled.
That means that this is a great place to get away from the heat. Aside from the rides, there are traditional fair games and also lot’s of places to get a snack or a full meal. There are over 25 rides and attractions and you can make this a full day excursion. We normally stay for about 3-4 hours since we’ve been before and we just go on our favorites… but if you are a first time visitor or haven’t visited in quite awhile I would block out 5-6 hours at least.
The Adventure Dome is one of the most budget-friendly activities for families in Las Vegas.
All day passes start at just $29.95 and I often see them running specials. The best way to learn about their special offers is to visit their website and follow them on their social media pages like Facebook and Twitter.
I don’t think I have ever heard of a totally enclosed Adventure type park before–but with the heat in Las Vegas I guess it makes tons of sense. I can guarantee I would NEVER go on that roller coaster-you can barely get me on a merry-go-round! But I think I would enjoy this place for an hour or so just the same!
Wow! I think I’ll just stay on the ground lol. That looks intense. Fun if you like roller coasters though!!
I’ve never been here before, but it looks like a lot of fun for the whole family . If we ever vacation in the area I will have to check it out 🙂
Oh El Loco reminds me of going on Space Mountain with the lights on. But this is probably way cooler because when you turn the lights on in Space mountain its not quite so scary anymore.
It’s been a while, but we’ve visited there once. Kids weren’t old enough to ride then!
I’ve never seen a place like this, it looks like a great place for the kids!
It’s been years since I’ve been to Las Vegas, and only as a adult. I never took Lauren as a child (it wasn’t really child friendly that many years ago). Honestly, watching this video is as close to El Loco as I want to get! I must be getting really old…
This looks amazing! Hubby and I love roller coasters I think we would try it.
Las Vegas is so much fun and very family friendly. I don’t go on rides much any more, but love the idea of an enclosed, air conditioned environment in the desert heat.
I didn’t realize how family friendly Las Vegas is until a friend of mine visited with her kids and they had loads of fun. I hope to visit one day.
Love Vegas before but now with this even more than ever. Looks like soooo much fun!
This looks like so much fun. I love that it is indoors so you don’t have to deal with the heat or rain.
Wow. That looks like an amazing place. I would love to take my daughter here one day.
seems like this place was made for my kids! Have to put it on our bucket list-we want to visit every state and this would be a great way to see Nevada!
Sounds like a best place to have fun with whole family. I love adventure games a lot. Roller coaster is one of my favorite. Great thing is that it has more than 25 rides & traditional games. Definitely it would impress any one who plans for a family excursion.
This sounds awesome. Climate controlled in Vegas is awesome! BUT, is it loud? We’ve been to Great Wolf Lodge, also indoors, and love it except for the noise. Thanks!
I’ve never been to Vegas but have always wanted to go. Sounds like a fun place!
What a fun place! I’m sure the kids had a wonderful time. 🙂
Looks like you all had an awesome time. This sounds like a lot of fun for the family. I have to admit I am not to into the roller coasters. Thanks for sharing.
Oh when I was a kid, the rides were so much fun. We didn’t get to do it very often. This is a little kid’s dream come true!
Many people incorrectly assume that Las Vegas isn’t for kids. There is plenty for them there.
And I always thought there wasn’t much to do in Vegas. Wow! Cool stuff!
Now you really have me wanting to take a trip to Las Vegas. I have NEVER been there.
Love Vegas! Nice to know there are family friendly attractions!
