I was invited to a press trip to facilitate this post.
During our visit to the Bahia Resort Hotel we had an evening of fun at the 2nd Annual Brazilian Carnaval!
Talk about amazing entertainment and food! Every Thursday night during the summer the Bahia hosts a Brazilian Carnaval on their private beach located on Mission Bay. The Samba music and colorful exotic dancing transported us to a night in Brazil! While we enjoyed the party we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat beach barbecue!
The evening started off with their signature cocktail and mocktail which the girls and I all enjoyed!
Followed by the awesome buffet. Here is the amazing buffet menu:
Salads Sliced Tropical Fruit Display Calamari Salad Tomato & Hearts of Palm Salad Brazilian Potato Salad Arroz Branco (Brazilian Style Rice) | Entrées Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) Grilled Churrasco Style Beef served with chimichurri and farofa Feijoada (Pork & Black Bean Stew) Moqueca de Peixe (Brazilian Fish Stew) Brazilian Beer Marinated Chicken | Kids Buffet Jell-O Fresh Cubed Fruit Cheese Pizza Marinated Grilled Steak Tator Tots |
Desserts Pudim de Laite (Brazilian Flan) Passion Fruit Mousse Cakes Chocolate Mousse Cakes Rice Pudding Assorted Brazilian Pastries | Beverages Iced Water and Tropical Iced Tea Freshly Brewed Coffee and Decaffeinated Coffee on Station |
As the sun started to set the real fun started!
I captured some of the dancing on video:
And I also caught The Little One joining in on the fun! Moments after this they invited all the kids to come on stage and dance with the dancers! She is still talking about how fun it was!
