At dinner tonight I was asked if we would ever travel full time or move away from California and I looked over at Pete, as he gazed my way and we both blurted out at the same time “no way”.

We both love to travel, and we love showing our girls the world, but California is home and we love it here. There is just something about coming home and really feeling like you are home… California does that to us.

We just love it here.

From the salty air by the ocean and the rocky sea shores, to the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California is vibrant and alive. It’s welcoming and full of opportunity. There is nowhere else on the planet that I would want to live. I feel like I come alive here like no other place.

I’m even in love with our water. Pete and the girls know that I am a go with the flow kind of person, except when it comes with my water. I’m a California girl through and through… down to what I drink. It is so much a part of my life that we even bring a case of water with us when we travel just so I can have my (partner) Arrowhead® Brand 100% Mountain Spring Water from California. I can really taste the difference with other waters. Arrowhead tastes like waster should…cool and refreshing. I am never without a bottle or two.

Did you know that my beloved Arrowhead Water started in the San Bernardino Mountains in 1894? It has since expanded to 13 mountain springs in California, Colorado, and British Columbia, with 11 of those springs still in California. Arrowhead’s team of natural resource managers and field experts even help to care for the mountain springs and surrounding environments.

Arrowhead is committed to its California heritage and 80% of the water sourced in California is distributed in the state. California is different than other states, it’s special in it’s own way. There is so much to see and do and it is one of the most welcoming states. California is naturally different. Arrowhead is celebrating what makes California – and the Arrowhead brand – so unique.

I’m happiest when I’m out in nature, and one of my favorite things to do in California is to soak in the beauty of this great state. We love to go hiking and to have picnics with sweeping views in the background.

I love the vast hillsides, lush with green foliage.

And the relaxing ocean breeze that sweeps up the hillsides each afternoon. I also love that you can be surfing at breakfast time, having lunch in the dessert, and enjoying dinner at a sky resorts. That’s California for you!

California makes me happy each and every day and I’m so excited to be raising my own California girls, who love and appreciate this beautiful state.

What do you love about California?
