Sometimes even the best strategic shoppers have to cheat. When I don’t have time to stop at all the local grocery stores and buy the loss leaders, I just stop and do my weekly grocery shopping at Trader Joe.
Here are my top 10 reason’s why I chose TJ’s for my one stop shop:
1. Ton’s of options for Vegetarians. We are vegetarians {minus the husband} and TJ’s has the most veggie choices.
2. Overall, TJ’s has the best prices across the board. I know that I will get a fair price on milk-butter-yogurt and everything in between. {This is second to Winco which carries more products at good prices too, but is quite a drive for me to get to.}
3. Lot’s of natural offerings. I still read the labels, but It’s a lot easier to shop at TJ’s when you are looking for the least added junk to your food because they focus on carrying more natural products.
4. They carry lot’s of convenience food. I’ve admitted this before… I’m not a “cook”. I need all the help I can get and Trader Joe’s has just the help I need.
We love shopping at Trader Joe’s! My favorite product are these snack puffs they sell. I can’t remember the name, but they are so good. We like to buy, and try out a lot of the sauces that they sell for cooking. Plus their fresh salsa is amazing.
I shopped ALL the time when I was in Illinois (actually in WI but I drove for Trader Joes!) ….we are FINALLY getting one near me in Fl! Okay, about an hour away but I am SO driving there! I can’t wait! Everything is great there and their prices are so reasonable…especially considering the organic, etc… options. Their pizza is delicious!
They carry great dips and cheeses too, great prices always.
mochi is yummy as well as rice crackers and french onion soup in onion shaped can..and number one is xmas mint oreo cookies forgot the name but we went thru 6 boxes fast!!every yr they are my diet downfall….
You need to find their mango sorbet! It tastes perfectly like a ripened mango everytime. <3
I live in Chicago, but ugh, I don't drive. By public transit, it would take me 50 minutes to get to one. 🙁 I recently bought some nice shredded hash browns for like, 1.69. It's JUST potatoes, nothing added.
Shopping there is so much cheaper. D:
