Have you heard of The Pop Ups?

They are an awesome musical collaboration between Brooklyn musicians Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein. The Pop Ups have been setting the standard for children’s music since 2010.

Their latest album, Appetite for Construction which is a celebration of making, building, and learning, received a 2014 GRAMMY nomination for Best Children’s Album, alongside a National Parenting Publications Award, Parents’ Choice Award and praise from NPR’s All Things Considered, The Huffington Post, and USA Today, among others.

The boys have toured with Yo Gabba Gabba Live and continue to perform their rock and roll puppet musical live show to sold-out audiences across the US. 2015 will see the launch of The Pop Ups online world, with a series of videos featuring new characters, new music and new stories.

Emmy and Ashley have been watching their videos over and over… this one is their favorite!

The graphics are very child-friendly and captivating!

And the Robot Dance is just fun! There is no way you can watch it without wanting to dance along. There is a part in the middle that we all jump our of our seats to join along with the video. No spoilers here, you will have to watch it to know what I’m talking about!

Em keeps borrowing my phone to watch more of The Pop Ups videos!

The Grammy-nominated children’s music duo recently launched an educational video series on YouTube for kids. The videos cover everything from reading and counting to learning colors and science. Each one keeps getting better and better!

If your kiddos are getting a little restless this summer, watching The Pop Ups is the perfect way to keep them entertained and still learning. I like that they also encourage physical activity too!

Your kids can get in on the fun with The Pop Ups as they are hosting a hashtag campaign, #RobotDance.  They are asking parents and kids to submit clips and or photos of themselves enjoying the new Robot Dance vidoeo – or their own version of the dance! You can share your video or picture on social media using the hashtag #RobotDance. I can’t wait to see your picture and videos!

Do your kids like to watch videos too?
