I am so excited for Father’s Day this year because I found the best gift for that special dad that has everything. Thank you Tile for sponsoring this post.

I wanted to title this post: The Perfect Father’s Day Gift For The Dad That Has Everything (but can’t always find it all), but that was too long. Because when I am thinking about what to get the men in my life on Father’s Day, I think about what would make their life better and easier. I found exactly what I was looking for with Tile.

If you haven’t heard of Tile yet, it is a simple and sleek location-tracking app that can be used to track any item you don’t want to misplace. You can place small, affordable Tiles on wallets, purses, computers, luggage, etc., allowing you to communicate within the world’s largest lost and found community (over 8 million Tiles sold!). Tile’s global community spans 230 countries and territories and helps people locate more than two million items every day. Pretty awesome right?

There are so many ways that Tile will be helping Pete save time and find things that are misplaced:

  • You can ring lost items from your phone. If your Tile is within the 100-foot Bluetooth range, it will play a loud tune until you find it.
  • Can’t find your phone? Double press any one of your Tiles to make your lost phone ring—even on silent.
  • Find the last place it was. Always keep the app running in the background, and Tile will automatically remember the last time and place you last had your item so you know where to start looking.
  • It will keep looking. If your item isn’t where you last had it, select “Notify When Found” in the app and when any device in the Tile community simply passes by your missing item, you’ll automatically be notified of its most recent location. This feature works 100% anonymously and automatically to protect your privacy.

new gifts for dad

Tile comes in two sizes, Tile Mate and Tile Slim.

Tile Mate is the one Pete will be using the most. I already added it to his camera (the number one thing he misplaces and that we absolutely need for our videos), his keys, and wallet. These three things are ones that we are constantly looking for. The tiles just go right on and they are compact so they don’t “bulk” up.

Within hours we could already see how much time Tile is saving Pete. It was enough for him to have time to brew and enjoy another cup of coffee before he had to head out the door. It is funny how you get used to certain things, like planning time into your day to find things and then when you don’t have to do that you realize that there are a lot of things you could use that time for that make life better and easier. I feel like we are giving Pete the ultimate gift of time when we gave him Tile.

Tile is more than just a gadget – it’s a practical time-saving tool for everyday life!

It was pretty cool watching Pete decide where to use Tile too. Instead of spending any time looking for his camera, if it wasn’t in front of him he just used the Tile app to locate it. Then he was back in business filming. There are going to be so many less missed shots because of Tile.

At first, Pete was worried that the size of Tile was going to be an issue and then as soon as he saw how compact it was he knew it was the right choice for him.

Not only does it work at home, but since we travel a lot, there is also Tile Slim for things like his briefcase. He often brings it along with us and the peace of mind knowing that we will be able to locate it if it is misplaced is great too. He just slips it into a side pocket.

Tile Slim is also perfect for adding to electronics. We put one on his iPad too.

With Father’s Day around the corner, Tile is the perfect gift for all the dads in your life.

Do you have a dad in your life that always misplaces things?
