Summertime fun is never complete without a visit to Knott’s Berry Farm. From the rides to the food… there is so much to do that you can’t possibly do it all in one day.
I was provided access to special events to facilitate this post which makes me totally happy because I love to share about fun things to do in Southern California.
Summertime means the start of my series of family fun in and around So Cal.
We are just about to take off on some travel for our upcoming vacation and fun posts, but first we had to make a visit to to Knott’s Berry Farm to see all the new #KnottsSummer fun and to help Camp Snoopy Celebrate 30 years! Some of the classic rides were replaced with new ones and the whole place got some awesome updates!
Little One had been anxiously awaiting our visit for weeks and was so excited!
The girls loved the swings!
Camp Snoopy has so many cool things to see and do! We even hung out behind the waterfall!
The Ferris Wheel is always a fun time!
One of the new additions to Camp Snoopy was a play area with things to climb on and around!
Pete and the little one had some fun together too while the big girls went on a roller coaster!
And then it was back to Camp Snoopy!
Seriously there is so much to do we could have spent all day just in Camp Snoopy!
Just kidding! We did take a break and let the others go on The Jaguar roller coaster! We watched as they zoomed by!
No visit to Knott’s Berry Farm would be complete without food! At Grizzly Creek Lodge they have great traditional food and also all of these vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options!
We might have also had some stuffed churros! I tasted the stuffed Bavarian cream, strawberry and boysenberry! So good!
And then we had these french fries from the French Fry Co. in Calico!
As the afternoon started to get warmer we decided to see the new ice skating show, “Snoopy Unleashed”! I was so impressed with the ice skaters! They were entertaining and very talented. The girls and I all really enjoyed the show. It’s 45 min long and the perfect way to take a break and cool off in the air conditioning!
Before we headed home we stopped and bought some geodes! Best souvenir ever!
No trip to Knott’s Berry Farm is complete without picking up some fudge for the ride home! I’ve been doing that since I was a kid myself with my grandparents and we do it with my kiddos too!
Here is an awesome video that shows all the fun…
I followed along with your day over on Instagram and it definitley looked like you guys were having a blast. Knott’s is on my list for the next time I get to CA.
There’s certainly no shortage of fun activities at Knott’s Berry Farm. It’s such a cute place, too. I love the details on that adorable log entryway.
We visit the shopping area at Knotts every year. One of my daughter’s celebrated her first birthday with a cake from the bakery there…and of course the chicken!

When and if I ever find myself in CA with my family I’m taking them here. I grew up going to Knotts Berry Farm and I’d love to share it with my kids and husband. I know they would have a great time and I know there is so much more to do there now than there was in the 80’s when I was last there. Looks like you all had a blast!
I totally love that you have a fudge tradition! I have that in certain places too! Knotts Berry Farm sounds like a family fun spot for sure.
