“I’ve never felt energy like this at a Vegas show before!
It’s true! Recycled Percussion knows how to rock the house!”

IF

On one of our first nights in Vegas this summer we headed straight to Recycled Percussion, which is located in The Quad Resort and Casino. Tucked away in the inner part of the resort is this bigger than life show.  As we made our way to the entrance we were advised to pick up a drum-like instrument and earplugs. Once inside we were given our drum stick and escorted to our seats.

That’s when the fun started! There were some awesome surprises at this show. Everything from a cookie break to multiple segments of audience participation!

IF

Since the audience is invited to be a part of the music and beat their own “drum”. The kids LOVED it.  I saw young toddlers to elderly attendees all having a blast.

IF

The show is broken up into different segments and I was amazed at what they were able to create on the stage. There were moments of story telling followed by acrobatics and then what felt like an impromptu jam session!

This is the funniest part! I’m not going to spill the beans on what happens here, but you will crack up!

If you saw them on American’s Got Talent in 2009 where they broke through with their unique creation of “junk rock music” and wanted more this is for you. They have taken it up a notch and continue to one up themselves!

I would highly recommend adding Recycled Percussion to your Las Vegas vacation itinerary, especially if you or your kids are into music. My oldest plays guitar and considers music her number one interest in life and she was in heaven at this show. We are already planning to see it again next time we are in Vegas because the show changes often… although I’d be happy to see the same exact show again!

Tips: Get there early. It gets a bit hectic with everyone excited for the show. Be sure to get the earplugs they offer. It does get loud. If you have a child that is sound sensitive I think they would still enjoy the show but I would recommend bringing your own noise-blocking headphones. I’d also recommend sitting in the back of the theater closest to the doors for emergency restroom runs. There is a meet and greet after the show where you can get autographs and buy some of the show souvenirs so don’t plan on rushing out. A most important tip, buy your tickets in advance. This is a very popular show!
