MeMO Pad 7 LTE

We’ve started our busy travel season, which is really exciting for all of us… but it also comes with a lot of “hurry up and wait”. Waiting for drivers, airplanes etc. So I’m always keeping my eyes open for ways to make those times easier and better!

Since I’m all about finding solutions I was really excited to try out the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE to see how it would fit into our lifestyle of travel, working and just being on the go as a family.

MeMO Pad 7 LTE thin

The first thing I noticed was the size. It’s thin and light weight. The size is most comparable to our iPad Mini’s… although it’s still quite a bit smaller. It fits perfectly into my purse. We took it with us running errands and we plan to take it with us to Utah this weekend too.

I tested it by doing real world things on it. I watched videos, listened to music, used it to check Google maps, and to updated my website. It has good speed and the display was crisp and nice to watch videos and look at pictures on. I liked the fast web browsing, smooth video playback and immersive gaming that it offers.

We also used it to take pictures and video and it worked perfectly. It comes with a front-facing 2-megapixel camera as well as a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera. It also has different camera modes such as Time Rewind, Always in Focus, and Selfie!

One of the biggest concerns with gadgets we have is battery life.  I don’t like running out of power at an airport or on a plane… so I used it as I normally would, and after a full charge, I found the battery lasts the stated time of around 10 hours… less if I’m watching videos, which is to be expected.

MeMO Pad 7 LTE screen quality

My impression after using the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE is that it is very comparable to other tablets, except for the price. It’s a lot more budget friendly. A couple other features that make it stand out above other tablets is that it comes ready to go with these two productivity tools.

  • Do It Later – all the things you need to check and don’t want to forget. Add these tasks into Do It Later where it’ll all be clearly listed so you can quickly access it – articles, news, emails and texts.
  • What’s Next – keep track and intelligently managed your schedule. Reminders of tasks, events, special items/reminders, and reduce the number of distractions.

Both of these help me to simplify my life on the go and to organize everything!

How would the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 LTE make your life easier?
