I kinda feel like I’ve let the season slip by me this year. Pumpkin season, okay Fall, is my favorite of the year and I haven’t made anything with pumpkin in it till just now. How did that happen? Oh I remember now. Life got busy. And that’s okay right?

I think pumpkins are totally adorable and they taste even better than they look. A really good pumpkin pie is the perfect way to end a meal… but what about when you want chocolate? Enter these ridiculously delicious goodies. Think of dense brown sugar, pumpkin spice and gooey chocolate chips. These are amazing!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of turbinado sugar {aka Sugar in the Raw}
  • 1 cup unsalted butter {melted}
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pure pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Combine all the wet ingredients.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients.
  3. Stir just till everything is well combined.
  4. Pour into a cake pan sprayed with oil.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees just till a toothpick comes our clean. About 30 minutes. Don’t over cook. they should be solid and cooked through but still gooey!
