I’m a sucker for anything butterscotch. I think its part nostalgia and part that I just think it tastes really good! I also love chocolate chips {just being honest} and I kinda have a thing for oatmeal cookies, but with non of those shriveled grapes, I mean raisins. Those make me sad. These cookies are a compilation of all of my loves. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1 cup of butterscotch chips
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 cups oats {I like to use the quick cook ones}
Directions:
- Mix all the wet ingredients.
- Add in the dry ingredients and then the chocolate and butterscotch chips and continue mixing till it’s all combined.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Watch them carefully and remove them once they are firm and starting to brow.
