Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch Cookies

I’m a sucker for anything butterscotch. I think its part nostalgia and part that I just think it tastes really good! I also love chocolate chips {just being honest} and I kinda have a thing for oatmeal cookies, but with non of those shriveled grapes, I mean raisins. Those make me sad. These cookies are a compilation of all of my loves. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch Cookies

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of butterscotch chips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 cups oats {I like to use the quick cook ones}

  1. Mix all the wet ingredients.
  2. Add in the dry ingredients and then the chocolate and butterscotch chips and continue mixing till it’s all combined.
  3. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Watch them carefully and remove them once they are firm and starting to brow.
