Yankee Candle is a tradition in my home and I’m so excited to be sharing their new summer fragrances. This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Yankee Candle. All opinions are 100% mine.

We have spent the better part of a year redecorating and updating our home.

It’s a little over 7 years old now and there were some things we wanted to change… mainly the “feel” of the home. When we first moved in we had it painted the then “popular” cream and beige colors. Years later we felt like we wanted our home to represent where we are now as a family… and our love of travel, so we changed things up a bit.

We started with new paint and furniture and now we are at the decorating stage, which I think is the most fun!

summer table scape

Starting with the décor on our table in the kitchen area, I created a tablescape that we all loved. I knew I wanted a relaxing beach feel that welcomed summer no matter what season we were in.

After adding the river rocks and the shells, the final touch was candles sprinkled throughout. I wanted the candles to be seen and the scent to be there at every angle so I included one of Yankee Candle’s new summer fragrances, Windblown, in three different sizes to add height and a summer scent no matter where you are sitting at the table.

Inspired by playful beach days and boardwalk adventures, each of Yankee Candle’s new summer fragrances exude summer fun—from the salty vigor of an ocean breeze to the sticky sweetness of a seaside treat. They are priced at $27.99 MSRP for the large tumbler or jar candle; $24.99 MSRP for the medium jar candle; $15.99 MSRP for the small tumbler candle; $10.99 MSRP for the small jar candle and $1.99 MSRP for the Tarts® wax or Samplers® votive candle. Windblown  smells like fresh air, with a touch of tangy citrus blend, sea spray, and a hint of lily. The result takes you to the shore on a bright day with a wind gently ruffling your hair. It’s pretty much the ultimate beach vacation scent.

Every time I smell it I have memories of my childhood days spent at the ocean playing in the sand!

Next up was adding some color to our mantles.

Our living and family rooms both have a blue/grey color scheme so green was a natural addition to add a little more color and excitement. I love these candles for just that. The Pure Radiance summer 2015 fragrance vases deliver understated elegance to any home décor, through textured glass and a touch of color. They provide the perfect ambiance due to the soft, radiant glow coming from the wide Crackling LumiWick and alluring fragrances, and with the new small vase size it’s easy to make a beautiful tablescape or centerpiece! They are priced at $27.99 MSRP for the large vase candle; $24.99 MSRP for the medium vase candle and $15.99 MSRP for the small vase candle. We have Meadow scent which is a wonderfully carefree and playful clean, fresh scent filled with green fields, golden sunshine and blue skies.

It’s one of my favorite scents ever!

New to me is the Y.Collection No. 2.

It’s inspired by fine perfumeries around the world, each hand-poured masterpiece is made with quick-melting wax housed in a stylish porcelain tumbler or quatrefoiled-shaped tin. These are beautiful next to a lamp or pile of well-loved books and would also make awesome gifts!

The way that they are presented in an artistic box makes them even more special.

When you open them up and smell the amazing scent, you think it can’t get better… but then you see the delicate details on the porcelain containers and you fall in love with them. I remember a trip I took to Paris years ago and how enamored I was with all the depth of scents… these are like a trip to Europe…

They come in the following sizes and scents. The porcelain tumblers are $39.00 MSRP and the quatrefoil tins are $29.00 MSRP.

I can’t pick a favorite scent. They all smell amazing:

  • Addison  – Orange Blossom, White Jasmine, Cedarwood, Musk
  • Alexis  – Rose, Violet, Sandalwood, Musk
  • Brookefollow – Ylang Ylang, Juniper, Patchouli, Musk
  • Charlotte  – Mandarin, Pear Blossom, Vanilla, Sandalwood
  • Emilia  – Black Peppercorn, Night Blooming Jasmine, Dark Woods, Patchouli
  • Katherine  – Blue Freesia, Rose de Mai, Lily of the Valley, Musk
  • Naomi – Pepper, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Amber
  • Penelope  – Pepper, Bergamot, Amber, Vetiver

  • I love Yankee Candle. I toured their factory in western MA once and loved it.

  • I already loved Yankee Candle’s summer scents…this is going to be big trouble, now that there’s a whole new collection! LOL

  • I love how thoughtful the candle shapes and container designs are- they are so stylish! We gift Yankee Candle gifts for birthdays and holidays- they are always a hit!

  • Those artistic boxes are adorable! I think I would like Charlotte’s scent the best! I need to find these!

  • I love Yankee Candle products so much! We will be visiting the Flagship store in Virginia.

  • My favorite summer memory would have to be going to the beach with the kids when they were younger. They were always so happy playing in the sand.

  • I love these scents! I love also the way you decorated the table! I love getting ideas and when we can get into a house ourselves I can’t wait to do this!

  • I love it! It does feel like a great summery tablescape. We moved into our house about three years ago and I’m finding that I want to change a bunch of stuff already from just three years ago. Like we are repainting our kitchen and adding a backsplash…yeah its good to change the decor from time to time.

  • I’ve often tried to change a mood with the scent of a candle, but never really considered using the color for decor purposes. Great idea! The unique shapes are interesting, too.

  • These candles are truly exquisite. Some of those containers look like pieces of art and not just candle holders.

  • I love the smell of some of these (probably too much incense as a young adult) but sometimes the smell is too strong so I just leave the candle open and unlit.
