This past weekend the little one wanted to go looking for bugs in the yard because it was springtime!
After learning that butterflies and other cool bugs like to come out in the springtime, she planned for days to get up early and get out there and explore nature. A few days before we went shopping at Target and she even picked out some new hair care products for the occasion. It was her first time helping to buy her own products and she had so much fun. She just started to really be able to read and so we spent some time in the isle so she could read everything on the bottles too.
The night before “bug exploring day” she laid out her clothes (note the butterfly shirt).
She got up early and took a shower using her new SoCozy 2in1 Shampoo+Body Wash followed by SoCozy Conditioner. It was easy to use, washed off well and smelled amazing. After she finished getting ready it was hair brushing time. This is normally when our morning takes a down turn. After having three girls we just expect and prepare ourselves for this each day. The fussing, complaining and sometimes even crying when hair has to be brushed. Not fun.
Notice her messy “before” hair above? That’s what we deal with often.
We are in love with the SoCozy Kids hair detangler and leave-in conditioner.
It is revolutionary. My little one started to spray it herself onto her hair and after the first spray she stopped and told me it smells so good… her exact words were… “like summertime and rainbows and berries”. And then she asked if she could use it everyday!
Pete and I each took turns brushing her hair on each side because it was so smooth and easy to brush. A little goes a long way and this was the easiest hair brushing experience we have ever had. It was that awesome! Even more awesome is the SoCozy Stylers reward program! Be sure to check that out too!
SoCozy products are non-toxic and made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol, gluten, wheat or nuts.
Sounds like a great brand. I should pick some up for my kids.
I have never heard of that brand before. Love that it is non toxic so I will be checking it out for my daughter.
This is just perfect! I struggle with getting a brush through my 4 year old daughters hair so I am thrilled to have read this article about this product! I will be giving this one a try!
Such cute and fun packaging! (I’m a sucker for cute packaging!) I have a good friend whose daughter has hair to her bottom…She would LOVE this! These products would be a perfect addition to a little girl’s Easter basket!
My granddaughter could use this. Sounds like good products.
I want to try that detangler for my own hair. The conditioner I have now is just too “heavy”.
sounds like a great product and one that my daughter would use. Her hair is always so messy in the mornings!
I always had to use a detailer on my daughter’s hair when she was little. It always made brushing her hair so much easier. I haven’t heard of this brand before today. It makes me wish my daughter was still young, she is 18 already.
Ah that seems great! I’m glad they are making kid friendly hair products like this!
I will have to look for this for my son. I love the ingredients of this product.
She’s a doll! I can tell by her smile that she enjoyed using these products. 🙂
We are more than ready for spring!
My boys love these products and they just work great on their hair! It so nice to have something to use that is non-toxic and that the kids love!
We seemed to skip spring in south Florida and right to summer with this heat we are having. My daughter needs to try that detangler, she has such thick hair.
This sounds awesome! I don’t have little girls but I would totally use this on my own hair!
That looks like the perfect product for kids. Your daughter looked very happy
I am ready for spring to sprung. It still gloomy and cold at my end. It’s been a long winter and I’ve been sick.
I love this brand! Their styling cream is my favorite
I have a 5 year old that hates having his hair brushed, gotta try this!
I definitely need to check these out – my little gal has long curly hair and it’s ALWAYS looking a hot mess lol
I had never heard of this brand before. Thanks!
This sounds like a great brand! We need tons of detangler in my household.
Thanks for sharing a new brand! I am sure all moms with daughters will check that out 🙂
Oh man I need this! My daughter cries when I do her hair!
Awww look at that cutie pie. Thanks so much for telling me about this, Alyssa and Abby are both tender headed and get the worst tangles.
Your daughter is adorable. It’s so nice that you can find gentle products that work for her hair needs. It looks like it was a great trip to hunt for bugs.
I’m not very familiar with this brand though I’m willing to try it out in the future. It is a daily struggle to brush my daughter’s hair so products like these are heaven sent.
I haven’t tried them, but I just saw them at Target. I’ve heard good things and wonder if my youngest would love them. She is always in need of a good detangler.
I am soooo excited that spring is here. I cannot wait for the snow to disappear and the roads to clear for bike riding. When we were young, we never had leave-in conditioner’s, did we? Cool!
I love that this is non toxic! I sooooo need this for my twins.
Aww those pictures are just adorable! what a great review! thanks for sharing!
I have been forever trying to find an effective detangler for my daughters. I hope I get to try this.
So excited for spring and love that she likes those products!!
this sounds a perfect product for my aunt
