The Teen and I sneaked off for a soda date after school.
We are trying to find some time each week to just be together and catch up on life. It makes both of us happy to have this time together and this past week we decided to head over to BURGER KING for our date. It was the perfect timing since Coca-Cola and BURGER KING have teamed up for a cool new campaign called Share Happiness Your Way (#ShareHappinessYourWay).
We hung out and both enjoyed a drink in the special edition 40oz. cups available from December 1st – December 31st at all BURGER KING locations. We also posted a couple tweets and Instagram shares while we were there because BURGER KING and Coca-Cola are donating $1 to Feeding America for every photo or message shared with the hashtag #ShareHappinessYourWay.
We had so much fun knowing that the more we shared happiness the more we are giving back!
Each share earned Feeding America $1. And for each $1 given, we are helping to provide 10 meals! Ten meals! Pretty awesome right?!
Spread happiness during the holiday season with your own share… Ideas on what to share could be big or small, such as posting photos of you & your family sharing a Coke or meal at BURGER KING, your pup in a goofy holiday outfit, or volunteering in your community.
Here is our share:

Be sure to post your own #ShareHappinessYourWay message or photo on Twitter or Instagram. Although you do not have to have the cup to participate, all posts must include the campaign hashtag in order to qualify. Check out for more information including donation progress and limits!
What makes you the happiest about the holidays?
Ten meals for a dollar… yeah, that’s pretty nice. Big Kudos to Burger King!
I wonder if they have the same campaign here in the Philippines. It’s great to see big companies joining forces to give back.
Awww how cool! Sadly we don’t have a burger king close. Ours closed several years ago, and now it’s a Hardee’s. We’d MUCH rather have our Burger King back! Ahah
That is pretty awesome! Definitely a great cause. We are going to share some happiness this weekend too. It will be on the blog on Monday. 🙂
This is such an awesome campaign from Burger King and Coca Cola! I love to see companies give back, and this is such an easy way to help support the cause!
I love that Burger King is doing this! For me happiness is just being with my love ones for the holidays!
What a great campaign to be sharing with everyone! I wish more people knew and helped spread the word
Looks like it was a good family time together for a good cause.

How nice! It’s good to carve out extra time for teens. You have to get creative sometimes for sure!!
Food! I think that is my love language. lol I love taking my kids on a date to Burger King. They have awesome fries and pie.
Nobody should ever have to go hungry. I love when big brands like this give back to the community.
Awe that time is so important. i love one on one time with my kids.
I love the picture of the two of you toasting your Share Happiness cups. I love the idea of having a ‘soda date.’ Very cute.

What a great cause! Really awesome! Very glad that big companies are remembering to give back. I love the way to help & support the cause. Thanks for sharing.
What a great campaign, I love eating at Burger King (on occasion, when I can) … what makes me happiest about the holidays? Hmmm.. the decorations, the lights and the cheer that most people seem to have (Just wish they had it all year round like me 😉 )
What a cool campaign! Love things like this! Cheers!
I don’t usually use soda in my house and we very rarely buy fast food. I would buy this just to show support though.
What a great way to support a cause right in our own back yards. I would definitely support this.
What a terrific cause… I do say Mickey D’s does organize some very good ways of giving.
What a great promotion that Burger King is doing! It’s nice seeing the big companies giving back to the community!
