When we were in Florida this month, I went from hot coffee in the morning to iced very quickly. Like over night. Our first morning there, Pete brought me back the most amazing blended iced latte, and that was that. For the rest of the trip, I was in love with iced blended lattes. When we got back home I continued with the iced coffee while trying to recreate that first day’s morning coffee.

Aloha plant based protein
I tried a couple different ways to make it, and although they were all good… it wasn’t until I added much more ice than I thought I needed to, and ALOHA, vegan plant-based protein powder to it that it really came together. ALOHA is gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and organic protein powder. It’s also delicious and added the perfect texture and flavor to my iced vanilla protein latte.

This vanilla protein latte is extra awesome because it only needs two ingredients, three if you consider the ice.

To make it add a full cup of brewed coffee that is cold. You can drop a couple ice cubes into hot coffee to speed up the process. Add the coffee and two cups of ice to a high speed blender. Next add two scoops of ALOHA protein powder and blend on high until it is creamy and frothy.

I love enjoying my latte with an ALOHA protein bar because the ALOHA products are pure and powerful.

They are full of all the great things your body needs and amazing powerful ingredients. Plus they are free of GMOs, gluten, soy, dairy and anything artificial. All of their products are plant-based and organic.  I feel like Superfoods like the ones used in ALOHA products superpower me!

  • This sounds right up my alley. I love frozen or iced coffee. I’m considering going gluten free. I will slowly make the adjustment so that I don’t send my body into shock. I hope the transition isn’t too hard.

  • My iced coffee is currently the leftover coffee from this morning that I didn’t have time to finish. Not quite the same! I need to try this ASAP!

  • This is a nice way to add cool refreshing drinks to breakfast now that the hot days are showing up on a regular basis. We just happen to be passing the Target in Sparks NV tomorrow so we’ll stop to check out the ALOHA products. Healthy is always a good thing to put in front of the family.

  • I love a good protein shake in the morning so this latte flavored one would be perfect for me!! Thanks for the heads up!!

  • The drink looks so yummy. I just wish I could do protein drinks but just can’t seem to acquire a taste. Maybe the protein bar might be a better fit.

  • I bet that drink was really good. The protein bar sounds so healthy and it’s my fave flavor — peanut butter and chocolate — so I’m going to have to try both. YUM!

  • This is awesome! My husband is into protein shakes etc and I just know that he’ll love this. I may surprise him with it and hear what he says.

  • I love the idea that it is safe/ without chemicals, and it helps nourish your body with protein… I love the taste of vanilla, I’ll have to try this!

  • Ah, I love vanilla, whether it be for ice cream or for any of my sweet cream cravings. I wonder if I can get that Aloha from my local Walmart here, I like the iced variation, perfect for my post-jogging routines.

  • That seriously looks so delicious! I’ve been looking for a good source of vegan plant- based protein and I think I’ll look into Aloha. I loved iced coffee. It’s such a good pick me up and to be honest, I never liked my coffee hot.
