How To Get It All Done During Back-To-School Time

We are still feeling the back-to-school rush here at home, which is both exciting and a little overwhelming. I’m so happy to be partnered with CVS to share all about their MinuteClinic and how they can help you get it all done all year long and especially during back-to-school time. Disclosure: I’m proud to be working with CVS Pharmacy to help spread the word about #BetterHealthMadeEasy and how to #FindYourHealthy. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers.

I was talking to a friend this past week and the topic turned to how we both keep taking on more and more responsibilities, and yet, we still manage to get it all done.

But really, we both also acknowledged that we are never caught up and there is no secret to this level of productivity. We just do it. When our kids’ school needs more help- we help. If one of our kids comes down with a cold, life for the rest of the family still goes on, and we deal with it. We take care of our little ones and still get the day to day stuff handled. That is just parenthood for ya!

But that doesn’t mean we don’t have some tested tricks up our sleeves, because we totally do.

We are both masters at multi-tasking, have help keeping our homes clean, and we use all available services to make our lives better and easier. It should come as no surprise that MinuteClinic is one of my favorites when it comes to that. Over the past few years, they have been our go-to for most of our medical needs and they help us stay healthy and quickly take care of medical issues as they pop up!

For back-to-school time, MinuteClinic is an easy and convenient option for physicals and vaccinations that are necessary this time of year.

Whether we need a general wellness checkup for school records or last-minute clearance for sports, MinuteClinic locations offer quick physicals and can provide the forms you need. I love knowing that I can load all the kids into the car and over to MinuteClinic and get everything done at once. Since most schools require up-to-date vaccinations such as Tdap and Meningitis, a quick stop at CVS Pharmacy means a local nurse practitioner or pharmacist will administer those immunizations with no appointment necessary.

We also have been using the CVS mobile app or going online to see wait times and hold our place in line so we’re not spending all day waiting.

One of the best parts is that this is complementary to the amazing relationship we have with our with our daughters’ primary care physician. Their doctor knows their medical history so it is important for her to stay in the loop at all times, but because she is located outside of the area where we live, we love being able to visit MinuteClinic for these issues and then with our permission, MinuteClinic will send a report of the visit to her.

It is also important to note that MinuteClinic accepts most insurance but also offers out of pocket pricing. Choosing MinuteClinic can result in up to 80% cost savings over higher cost of care options.

MinuteClinics retail medical clinics are conveniently located inside more than 1,100 CVS Pharmacy and Target locations. They offer walk-in care seven days a week with evening and weekend hours too and are perfect for all your travel health needs.

How is back-to-school time going for you?
