You’ve heard of a meat and potatoes guy, right? Well, I’m a tofu and potatoes girl. I love potatoes and french fries are the perfect way to eat them! I love for my french fries to have some crunch and flavor and I prefer them not dried. My homemade buttermilk ranch french fries are so tasty and perfect! I love to serve them with a burger or just by them self as an appetizer!

These are so yummy. They are full of flavor and have a slight kick to them from the crushed red peppers. If you don’t like any spice to yours feel free to leave the peppers out.

Ingredients:

  • sliced potatoes or frozen not fried french fries {enough to cover the bottom of one cookie sheet}
  • 2 cups of buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt {I love the pink Himalayan}
  • 3 tsp dried dill
  • 3 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red peppers
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried chives

Directions:

  1. Layout the potatoes in a single layer
  2. Coat the potatoes in the buttermilk
  3. Sprinkle all of the other ingredients all over the potatoes.
  4. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 min or until the french fries are all golden brown.
