My girls and I have a long-standing tradition of helping in the community.
One of our favorite ways is to help clean up wherever it’s needed. Sometimes it’s a someone’s house who just had surgery or in neighborhood parks. We also have one other thing we always do… we get dressed up in fun costumes. This makes volunteering even more fun! Good Scout Group knows that volunteering and donating your time and money leads to a better life for everyone. Good Scout Group is a social good consultancy that helps brands take smart, impactful and sustainable leaps in how they do greater good.
Charitable donations have a huge impact on the life of those that benefit and we all are a big group of givers!
More than $358 million was raised in 2012 by an elite group of 63, million-dollar-plus charity checkout campaigns identified by Cause Marketing Forum. In aggregate, these large point of sale donation programs have raised over $2.3 billion in the last 29 years.
Ever wonder how much your charitable donating adds up to? According to the Run Walk Ride Fundraising Council, the top thirty “thon” fundraisingprograms raised $1.68 billion in 2012.
Whether it’s at retail, online, through an event or in the mail, giving of our time and money is increasing year over year. Good Scout is in search of donor preference, frequency and motivation as the charitable industry continues to evolve. With your help they can help raise even more money to help those in need and causes that are worth aiding.
Ready to get involved and let your voice be heard… oh and also possibly get a $20 Amazon Gift Card?
Awesome! Be sure to take this survey as well as sign up to participate in Good Scout’s focus group option at the end! The survey helps to understand our views around charity and being asked to donate to charity. Those selected to participate in the focus group will receive an Amazon.com gift card valued at $20. I took the survey myself and it was simple and took just a few minutes to complete. I felt like it was a very simple way to help be a part of a greater good!

I think it is great to help the community and neighbors!! It always is a reminder there are still good people left in the world amongst all the chaos!! Nice to see they enjoy helping!
Looks like they are truly enjoying themselves. We are always helping where we can
I like to spend a lot of time climbing on rocks in the ocean and in the hills. While I’m exercising, I pick up trash as a way to give back to my communinity for any of my past transgressions against my neighbors while growing up.
Good Scout sounds awesome! So cool that you do are so involved in your community, so inspiring! Thanks for sharing the survey, off to check that out!
I just love this! Helping the community is such an important thing for kids to learn. Your girls are too cute!
I’ve never heard of Good Scout before, it sounds like such an inspirational program! I love that they emphasize giving back – we need more of that in our world today!!
Most of my charitable donations I do are mostly through my church that way I know where it’s actually going. I think it’s great for kids to learn while they are young, my kids contribute as well.
I had never heard about Good Scout. I am very interested in any cause that pays it forward. Your girls look adorable and what a great way to teach them compassion for others.
Wow, that’s pretty impressive how quickly the funds add up. My son loves the boosterthon laps they do at his school every year.
I like getting me and the kids involved in volunteering and fundraising too. Good Scout sounds like a great group.
It is so good to get kids involved in giving when they are young, so they continue to be involved as they get older.
I do the same thing with my family. I think that it is very important to teach our children to give back and give back as a family.
These pictures are so cute! What a great idea and thing you are teaching them with service.
Costumes make everything more fun!!! What a great idea! Raking in a tutu is how it should be done. 😉
What a cool tradition! I love that you do this with your girls. That is awesome!
This is so great! What a wonderful world it would be if more people would do this.
This is so great to hear. What a wonderful lesson for the kids!
