Special thanks to Disney World for providing us tickets for us to experience Pandora – The World of Avatar, Flight of Passage, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Wow….that’s all I can say! Today we are sharing more about our adventure at Walt Disney World and we had our favorite vehicle to get us everywhere we wanted to go. I have to gush for a second about our love for KIA and the Sedona. We are so happy to have a long-term partnership with them so that we have a Sedona at home to drive and when we are traveling. The girls love all the room and Pete and I love knowing that we are all being transported safely and in style, wherever we are. It was also a pretty warm day so the exceptional air conditioning in the KIA was something we all appreciated as we drove over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We have been waiting to visit since we heard this new attraction was coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and we finally got to see Pandora, The World of Avatar and experience Flight of Passage.
We had a Fastpass luckily so we breezed right to the front of the line and it was AMAZING! It was better than we could have ever imagined. I would have gone on it 100 times more, it was that good. It was as if we were flying on top of an actual Banshee…so realistic! You could feel it breathing and the wind blowing through your hair. I can’t say enough about how much we loved it.
Also located in the Valley of Mo’ara is the Na’vi River Journey attraction where you can journey deep into a bioluminescent rainforest in search of the Na’vi Shaman of Songs! The colors are beautiful and you really feel like you have been transformed into a new world!
But that isn’t all of it either. You guys… the specialty food that they have is beyond what you could create in your mind. There are even vegan options!
I can’t wait to go back now. Quick tip- My favorite time to go to Disney’s Animal Kingdom is first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon to evening. The park can get warm and the temperature is perfect then and the Tree of Life is even more beautiful when it is lit up at night!
After a morning of fun, we headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to have lunch at another favorite spot of ours, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater restaurant!
We love eating in the cars and watching clips from old movies. Plus the milkshakes (vegan ones too) are out of this world amazing!
Because we didn’t pack in enough already… joking… we spent the evening at Disney Springs. We hadn’t been there since it changed from Downtown Disney and WHOA! It was totally different. Lot’s of high-end shopping, restaurants and so much more.
We can’t stop thinking about how much fun we had on this day…we can’t wait to go back!
Have you been to Disney Springs?

I always appreciate your blogs. I love anything Disney related. Obviously, a wonderful time was had by all 🙂
Loved reading about your Disney experience and surprised to see vegan options available at the restaurant too! That KIA looks like a great car for zipping around with lots of room for family and all the things that come along with that.
Pandora is amazing! We went there for the opening, and it was just about the coolest thing we’ve ever done, especially since we love the movie so much.
This is really great. I loved reading about your experience here. I have seen others enjoy Pandora too, what a trip!
Last time I was at Disney Springs, it was Downtown Disney. I’d love to go and see all the changes that they’ve made. I’d also really enjoy checking out the World of Pandora. My big kids want to visit next year and I can’t wait to experience it.
I would love to take my grand kids to Animal Kingdom! I need to make a list of places I’d like to take them, and anything Disney would be awesome.
I haven’t been to Disney Springs since it changed from downtown Disney. Sounds like you all had a hectic day.
I’m excited to check out the new Avatar attractions for the first time! The Na’vi River Journey sounds like a cool experience!
Looks like you had a great day with nice weather. I have not been to Disney Springs but we love Disney. Our last trip was just Epcot but we hope to go back next spring and check out a different area.
Having a nice comfy vehicle that fits everyone easily is vital on trips. Especially when it involves long hot days!
I am in love with Kias vehicles. Always such a smooth and sleek ride without cutting the necessities. Sounds like you guys had a blast!
Wow, you guys got to go to a lot of places. In an awesome ride, to boot! Love Pandora!
Well, now I am going to have to plan a return trip. The new Avatar attraction sounds amazing! The last time I went Animal Kingdom closed before dark, so I would love to see The Tree of Life lit up at night.
That’s pretty amazing! The whole place will definitely not disappoint you! We got to see that earlier this year and we haven’t forgotten about it since! It’s really one of the best attractions!
It would be so nice to go here and enjoy the rides and the food! It’s been a while since I last went to a Disney theme park!
That looks so much fun! I love all your photos, always! 😀 Would love to visit Kingdom of Pandora soon!
The Kia Sedona is the ultimate family car. Safety, comfort and elegance all in one vehicle. I love reading about your family travels. Your children are lucky to be able to travel extensively. I am sure they will treasure the experience forever.
I have never been to a Disney Theme Park before, not in CA or FL. I hear they have a food and wine festival, if they do that is something I would love to check out.
oh my goodness, i haven’t been do anything disney, but i can’t wait to go with my family! everything looks like a blast, so I’m super excited.
