During our “Tour of Florida” we had our sights set on seeing the other side of Florida…the Gulf side that is. I had visions of seeing Manatees, Alligators, Crocodiles and any other wildlife that would decide to come and say hi to us. When I was choosing where to visit, I knew we wanted to stay towards the south since our next stop would be the Keys, but other than that I stayed open minded. I ended up pulling up Google Maps and then researching each city that jumped out at me. Naples was the winner after I read that it is often compared to one of our favorite California areas, Monterey.
We were even able to find the perfect place to stay, Naples Bay Resort.
Naples Bay Resort is centrally located just 5 minutes away from the upscale shopping and restaurants that Naples is known for. The resort is luxurious and very family-friendly.
My favorite part of staying here was the huge balcony and this view…
My morning cup of coffee was so relaxing.
It is even in the Manatee viewing area. I stared out into the water for hours and I had no luck seeing them, but everyone I asked said that they see them there often! Can you imagine enjoying a drink on your balcony and seeing Manatees?! That would be so awesome!
Back in our suite we had wine and cookies waiting for us when we checked in. It was divine!
The suite itself was perfect for us. We had two bedrooms, two large bathrooms, washer and dryer (loved it), a full kitchen, eating area, and family room.
The amenities.
The resort also has some great amenities. From shopping to restaurants, they have everything you need right on-site for a great vacation.
One evening while we were staying there, we went swimming at the sister property, Naples Bay Club. They offer shuttles to take you back and forth, but we just drove over on our own. Before we went swimming, we stopped into the clubhouse for some lemon water and to see the gym. It was really nice and they had all the equipment you need for a good workout.
The pool is huge and has a beautiful waterfall, lazy river, cabanas, bar area, and adult pool off to the side.
If you haven’t seen Naples yourself, I would totally recommend a vacation here. The downtown area is beautiful. Think twinkling lights strung over walkways with warm ocean breezes.
The everglades are also close by. We went on a Manatee watching boat tour and an Airboat ride, both within an hour or so drive away.

Have you ever been to Naples, Florida?
Thank you to Naples Bay Resort for hosting our stay during our Tour Of Florida Adventure. All opinions, photographs, and videos of the properties are ours.
Everything about this resort is lovely. I love the styling, the atmosphere, the suite. Just everything. We’ll definitely be staying here on our next trip.

We’d love to stay here and check out the Manatees. Looks like a beautiful place.

Looks like a great place to vacation. My family would not be able to pull me out of that lazy river.
That resort looks absolutely relaxing! With a family of 6 myself, a kitchenette, minimum, is a must.
I’ve never been to Naples but it looks absolutely amazing! The balcony and resort are gorgeous – I might never want to leave!
This looks like an amazing resort. The suite looks perfect for a family.
What a fun vacation and beautiful suite!! I’ve visited Naples and really enjoyed it.
The place is lovely. I really like how spacious the rooms are, even the bathroom is huge. The pools are something that my kids will enjoy as well. And it’s nice that they have a sign on the adults only pool, it’s so much safer that way. This place is worth staying at for sure!
Funny. I’ve lived in Florida ll my life and I always forget about Naples! It would be a great weekend getaway for us!
That resort looks amazing. I could go for a nice relaxing vacation right about now. I’ve never even been to Florida before. That’s one of the places my family plans to take for our first real vacation.
This looks like a beautiful place to stay. I want to go to Fl again soon. I actually wouldn’t mind living there too.
The room is beautiful too.

This looks like a beautiful property. I love that they had that extra special touch waiting for you in the room.
I’ve been to the beach in Naples a few times but never once stayed in a resort there. I see that I missed out!
I have done a ton of international travel for work but not as much domestic travel, I haven’t visited Naples or Florida yet!
I don’t believe I have ever been to Naples, Florida, but it looks gorgeous! The resort that you and your family stayed at looks like a beautiful and relaxing retreat.
What a great place to vacation. I have never been to Naples, but we’re going down to Florida in a few months and I think I’ve found our destination.
Wow what a beautiful resort!! I love these pictures and Naples is always beautiful! Hope you had the best time!
Which airboat and manatee tours did you use? There are so many operators and these look great — and safe! We love Naples and all it has to offer!
Hi! We used Speedy’s Airboats and we can’t remember the name of the Manatee Tour operator. Pete and I have been trying to remember it for hours now. We’ll keep trying!
My family and I love staying at the Naples Bay Resort. We like to stay in the two or three bedroom condos. There is plenty of room for a family and you are located within walking distance to the main pools. It’s very convenient when you stay there. We are actually leaving for vacation in a few days and we will be staying there again. We look forward to our stay!
