I really thought my first was going to be a boy.

For some reason I was just convinced that I was having a boy and when the ultrasound tech told me she was actually a girl, I was shocked and stunned. Fast forward to this happening again and then I realized that whatever my gut was telling me, I should trust the opposite… at least when it comes to the gender of my babies!

After the shock wore off I started to think of the benefits of having girls. On that list was “girls are awesome” and “not having to worry about tons of messy laundry”. I figured girls would be so much cleaner and I wouldn't be controlled by my laundry schedule. I was right about girls being awesome… but totally wrong about the laundry situation. Girls are just as messy as boys and I practically live in the laundry room. Everyday is laundry day around here!

Sure, her clothes look all clean in these pictures… but as soon as the camera was put down it was a dirt fest!

The truth is that I love having girls and I love spending time with them… and I don't love doing laundry so when I do have to do it I want it to be as quick and effective as possible, so I can get back to being with them. One thing I just learned is that most likely the extra SUDS could be slowing down my laundry process! New Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ is the detergent that will save time and create a more efficient laundry process for me and I'm all over that! Bring on quicker laundry!

I love that What’s Up Moms video! You see what I'm talking about now, right? I love how this group of moms is conquering the laundry room with Tide® HE Turbo Clean™.

Seriously. Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ detergents save time and water using proprietary, quick-dissolving Smart Suds™ technology that helps prevent HE Machines from running additional rinse cycles…up to 25 minutes of cycle time.

There is also a detergent for everyone.

I was raised using a powder detergent but now I prefer liquid and they have both! Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ is available in Tide® liquid detergent, Tide Pods® pacs and Tide® powder formula. Many HE washing machines have 40% larger drums (vs. traditional machines) and can wash up to 32 pounds of laundry. That's a lot of dirt and Tide® HE Turbo Clean™ handles it like a pro!

A first-of-its-kind, the HE Turbo Clean™ formula is the #1 recommended detergent by leading HE washer manufacturers.

  1. It was a happy day for sure when our eldest daughter learned to do laundry well enough to help out! I don’t mind the laundry too much, it’s easy enough and there is pretty quick gratification in seeing a load done and folded.

    1. I am so thankful that kiddo is old enough now that she can help out with chores, especially laundry. She has always helped with something since she was a toddler, but now I dont have to go back over her work lol 😉

  2. Kiddo is tomboy. She hardly wears dresses and its generally because we’re going to church or some other event. She would rather wear her play clothes all day so she can go outside and dig in the dirt. She is a digger and builder. She will find whatever she can in the yard and scraps from the barn and create structures for the birds and fairies.

  3. Gosh, laundry is a never-ending battle. I daydream about a magic fairy that will do loads while I sleep. Until then, Tide.

  4. If I pretend I don’t have laundry and take a day off, the laundry starts it’s consumption of the whole house. Every day needs to be laundry day.

  5. I do laundry almost every day. It is my nemesis. Just when I start to get ahead, my kids change their clothes a thousand times (so it seems)!

  6. She looks so cute and innocent in these pictures! I am sure it did turn into a dirt fest afterwards…dirt and children go hand and hand!

  7. You know, I don’t mind washing laundry. It’s the putting away that gets me. I need detergent to come with an automatic folder! lol!

  8. I’m like Erin I don’t really mind doing the laundry, but its more the folding and putting away that gets to me. It’s true though for a mom every day is laundry day!

  9. My Mom doesnt want to do anything with laundry ( she hates folding too and ironing stuff ) so she has our stuff washed in a laundry shop. I do remember though that we used to have Tide at home when we were growing up. It will always be a trusted brand.

  10. You have a magical way with words, friend. I was chuckling the whole time reading this, and the images you took really were a cherry on top. Keep writing!! You’re amazing.

  11. I really hate laundry, lol! It is a never ending battle, particularly if you are a mom with more kids & a working mom as well! The pictures & the video you shared here are really cute. I have been using Tide for laundry over the years.

  12. Got to admit I loved the video. lol I love using Tide and have not seen this one yet so I will be watching for it for sure. Girls can actually make more laundry for us moms until you show them how to use the washer and dryer. Than they cut back on clothes changing a little bit. This was my experience when I had my niece living with me anyway. Thanks so much for sharing.

  13. Our middle two are about to enter the “do their own laundry” phase of their life. I’m pretty sure they can handle it and with 3 todders, 2 tweens plus my wife and I, Mount Laundry looms larger in our house and my wife and I struggle to keep up. An HE washer would be nothing short of amazing.

  14. This sounds like an awesome product and helps make washing and cleaning so much easier. I do not have kids yet but I have friends who would agree that everyday for them is laundry day! They never seem to finish it.
