Day two of our boating and fishing adventure at Walt Disney World with TakeMeFishing.org was amazing! We learned all about the fun extra special boating and fishing activities you can do there. Thank you to Take Me Fishing for hosting us!

We started the morning getting ready for an epic time on the water fishing for Bass.

Em wasn't sure what to expect so we walked her through the whole thing. Sitting on the water relaxing, catching a fish, releasing it back into the water and just having a good time in the boat. She was pretty excited after that.

We also took a few moments to get dressed for the occasion, even if the outfits didn't make it to the actual fishing adventure!

Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, we hopped on some fishing boats and had the best few hours on the water!

Captain Brian was the best at teaching us all about the lake and the fish in it.

He was so wonderful helping Emmy, especially who was a brand new fisher! You should have seen the look on her face when she had her #FirstCatch! It was a day we won't ever forget.

We would never have thought to go fishing, let alone at Walt Disney World, and I can't even tell you all what an amazing bonding moment it was. We were all out there working together to help Em catch her first fish and it was so cool!

We definitely want to do more boating together after this. We loved it!

The fun wasn't over though… right outside the Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts we took the Sea Raycers out for some fun!

We spent about a half an hour zipping along and having fun!

Our fun with TakeMeFishing.Org went by way too quickly. We totally want to add more boating to our life and travels!

Have you been fishing or boating as a family?

  1. This looks like a fun family outing. I didn’t know that you could fish at Disney, I will be looking into this.

  2. What a great experience to have as a family together! I used to fish with my Dad all of the time, I was his fishing buddy. Miss that, would love to experience fishing at Disney 🙂

  3. It looks like everyone had an amazing time. I never knew they had fishing at Disney. I will have to check it out the next time I go. I know my Son will love it.

  4. Unfortunately we haven’t. Well, some at a state park which the boys loved. I loved the rest of the week there and all the other camping, swimming visits. You and yours look all prepared. Love the cute fishing gear. Your pictures are great and the sky was beautiful. I’ll have to tell my sons about fishing.org as they are grown with families of their own now. My grands would flip over the boats.

  5. I didn’t know that Disney had a fishing adventure! What a fun way to teach kids how to fish! My 4 year old actually caught his first fish last month and I’m so proud of him!

  6. I had no idea you could go fishing at Walt Disney World (and I used to have season passes). What an amazing adventure for your family. That looks like so much fun.

  7. I never knew you could do that at Disney World! I would love to have that experience too. We will have to remember this the next time we fly to Orlando.
