Can you believe it’s almost back to school time?
I sure can’t! This summer has flown by and as much as I love summer I’m pretty happy that it’s almost fall time because… that means it’s almost time for Mickey’s Halloween party!
It’s not a secret that one of my favorite things ever is Mickey’s Halloween Party.
We’ve been bringing the girls for years and The Little One hasn’t missed a year yet since she was born. This year will be her 5th time going and she has been planning her costume for months! I’m thinking we might have an Elsa or Anna in our group this year like lot’s of others will!
We go multiple times during the celebration because it is that cool.
One of our visits is a family reunion of sorts. Everyone from both of our sides comes. Pete’s parents, sibling and their families come along with everyone on my side. We’ve learned how popular {for good reason} that this is so we all buy our tickets as soon as possible.
These my top reasons for LOVING Mickey’s Halloween Party, plus why it will be extra special this year:
- It’s family friendly fun- nothing scary!
- It’s a safe place for the kiddos to get in the spirit of Halloween.
- There are candy stations everywhere and the kids have so much fun collection it all.
- The decorations! Disneyland is transformed into a Halloween paradise! I’m getting excited just thinking about it!
- Party guests are invited to dress up in costume. That includes children and adults! If you went just to enjoy the other guests costumes you would have a great time. The amount of planning and preparation that people put into their costumes is seriously impressive!
Disney says it best…
“Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort transforms Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks into cheerfully spooky, family-friendly Halloween environments beginning Friday, Sept. 12. Highlights include the seasonal re-theming of Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, Mickey Mouse and his friends in Halloween costumes, and a special focus on Disney Villains”
Although both parks go through a transformation, Mickey’s Halloween Party is an after-hours event that requires a separate-ticket. Party guests get the extra benefit of being able to arrive early and play in Disneyland for three hours prior to the start of Mickey’s private bash.
Tickets do sell out so make sure you get your tickets right away!
Here are the dates for Mickey’s 2014 Halloween Party: Friday, Sept. 26; Tuesday, Sept. 30; Friday, Oct. 3; Monday, Oct. 6, Wednesday, Oct. 8; Friday, Oct. 10; Tuesday, Oct. 14; Friday, Oct. 17; Monday, Oct. 20; Wednesday, Oct. 22; Friday, Oct. 24; Monday, Oct. 27; Wednesday, Oct. 29; and Friday, Oct. 31.

I am SO excited!! Maybe we will see you there! You should see the costume we have in the works 😉
Oh such fun. I have always wanted to go for Halloween.
that looks like so much fun 🙂
Wow Halloween is already coming! The year sure went by fast! Wish I lived near so that I can go to this Halloween party too!!
This looks amazing. I miss living near Disney :(.
Omg this looks amazing!!! I love Halloween- it’s my favourite holiday, by far. I’ve found that not as many kids participate anymore, or at least they aren’t all out trick or treating though 🙁
There used to be TONS of us when we were little. Now I’m lucky if I see 20.
Looks like a fantastic time for both children and adults. I have never heard of it til now. Thanks for sharing.
I’m thinking a trip to Disney for Halloween may just be in order this year. We missed out this summer because of issues beyond our control but I really do want to go before next summer and I’ve never been to Mickey’s Halloween Party. The kids would love it.
With my husband being a teacher he can’t take off during school days so I don’t think we’ll ever get to go to Disney during Halloween. Maybe when he retires because it looks awesome!!
This looks like such a fun time. I am actually going to be in Disney during this time. Yah!
One of my sons did a little trick or treating in WDW many years ago. It was so fun! I bet that party would be awesome, my youngest would love it!
Wow! Halloween celebration already? What a great party. And nice costumes too.
I have a friend who goes to this every year! Looks like a BLAST!!!
What a great way to bring in the holiday. I’d love to go. 🙂
Wow. That looks like a big deal! I’m sure much fun will be had.
I want to go to the Orlando one! It looks like such a blast.
That looks like so much fun. I’ve never been to Disney.
Mickey’s Halloween party looks amazing and your girls are so cute. I have a quick question for you the social buttons you have on the sidebar with the counts is that a plugin? I was just showing someone your blog and saying how much I love the layout and I really like those social buttons.
