I have a love affair with all things Disney {totally not a secret} and I am determined to share with you all the best that Disney has to offer, including Disney Resorts. Disney was awesome as usual and provided me with a stay at the hotel last week so that I could rest up for Disney’s 24 hour #RockYourDisneySide event, and I loved it so much I wanted to share it all with you! I was not asked to share this and there was no requirement to do so. It’s just awesome and I want you all to know about it!

Here is the scoop on the first of my Hotels of Disneyland Resort Series…

I have to tell you, we have been talking a lot about going on a Disney Cruise or visiting their resort in Hawaii as our next two big vacations and this was the next best thing. Staying here is like a full on vacation, just not too far from home. It’s like walking into another place and as usual, Disney knows how to do it!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s is known for their legendary quality and outstanding Cast Member service.

This is absolutely one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world! Back in 2007 when we were evacuated from the fires,we turned it into a family vacation and this was our home for the week. I couldn’t have picked a better place to spent that time!

This hotel is just stunning! It has an American Craftsman style and a touch of elegance. You immediately feel awed by the high ceilings and craftsmanship of the hotel.

Not only is the main parts of the hotel beautifully crafted and comfortable, but the rooms are very comfortable, clean and designed for relaxing.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers premium accommodations and excellent service. Every room is spacious with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. There are Guest Rooms, Artisan Suites, Club Level Rooms, & Signature Suites. Each type of room comes with a special variety of amenities and there are even additional perks available when you stay at the Club Level! (I love any kind of perk from Disney!)

The beds are so comfortable! Even though I got up early to party at the Rock Your Disney Side 24 Hour Event, I still had a great nights rest. Next time I plan to get a spa treatment! The spa is world class!

I love the Pools, special entertainment, and events, offered at this hotel.

The themed pools are so fun for the kids and the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. There are private poolside cabanas available to rent for your family where you can relax and enjoy the foliage, entertainment and gorgeous day.

Guests of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort can also take in a wide variety of family-friendly activities specially designed to make your stay even more amazing and magical. Like nightly movies! There is also a childcare called Pinocchio’s Workshop that is beyond fun and perfect if you have to work in the middle of your vacation.

Let’s talk about restaurants too!

Our favorite breakfast spot is at Story Teller’s Cafe. It’s a character breakfast that features a buffet that is amazing. Pretty much a win-win for parents and kids. Although, I totally eat there even without the kids. Please don’t tell them! The Napa Rose is also a hugely popular restaurant and the food is top notch! Pretty much you can’t go wrong at any of the restaurants!

Another perk of stay here is that you get a “magic hour”!

The magic hour is a special time where only hotel guests are allowed into the parks an hour before the public.  Grand Californian guests also get their own entrance into Disney’s California Adventure {with tickets of course}.

Whether you stay one night, as I just did last week, or a whole week at the Grand Californian Hotel, you can be guaranteed to go home with a million memories and a heart full of magic.

Who would you love to spend a vacation with at The Disneyland Resorts?
