So much fun today in Grand Cayman! Thanks again to the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism for hosting us on this amazing adventure so we can share everything about this incredible place.

We started the day by taking a horseback ride on the beach with Spirit of the West. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to a beautiful stretch of the coast that allowed horses. We then took an hour plus ride along the beach. They also have another ride where the horses actually swim (with you on their back) to a nearby sandbar. Next time we definitely are going to do that!

Our next activity was with Red Sail Sports on a catamaran that took us to Stingray City. Stingray City is a sandbar where many stingrays come daily to interact with people. It is truly amazing. They were not afraid of us at all and loved getting close to us. We also had some time to do some snorkeling at a nearby reef. The catamaran sailed the majority of the way back to the dock which made for such a peaceful ride. The crew of the boat was awesome and they made the experience so fun for all of us.

Not to be left out was dinner at Catch in Morgan’s Harbor. The setting here was great. We were seated on the deck overlooking the harbor as the sun was setting. The food was incredible too!

  • Wow, this looks amazing! I have never been on an island getaway like this but it is on my bucket list to see water that clear, and horseback riding on the beach would be so fun!

  • I agree with Emily, amazing! Happy birthday, Ashley 🙂 Not only is this wonderful as a post, but you do exceptional work! We are videographers (complete with studio, etc. etc.) and so many times, web videos are sub-par, but this is not one of them. I am very impressed!

  • Wow this look amazing Pete ! Can’t wait to head to the Cayman Islands next year 🙂

  • Sting rays are such beautiful creatures. I love how i t seems like they just glide through the water wandering aimlessly. We are traveling this fall to Antigua and plan on visiting their Sting Ray city on a snorkeling trip while there!

  • The Cayman Islands look absolutely amazing! I definitely need to add them to my travel bucket list. I love your video, too. You’re a pro 🙂

  • Sounds like a wonderful time, and a great getaway. I would have loved to gone horseback riding on the beach like that.

  • I’m a hopeless romantic, so the thought of horseback riding on the beach is always romantic to me. One day I’ll try it, but I’m sure it’ll end up being more goofy than romantic. LOL

  • I’ve never seen stingrays and I would love to schedule a trip somewhere I can experience them in the future. Looks like you’ve had a really fantastic trip!

  • You did a superb job on the video and it was definitely inviting. I am very impressed by your family travels and documentation… lots of food for thought.

  • That sounds like a lot of fun! I miss the beach and I’d love to experience this one. I’ve never tried horseback riding on the beach!

  • Stingray City looks so epic! And horseback riding on the beach looks like it would just be the best!!
