Chuck E. Cheese’s new birthday party

Growing up the best birthday parties were always at Chuck E. Cheese's.

The pizza, the games and getting to explore with our friends while our parents all sat around and caught up, made sure that a good time was had by all!

When my oldest was little, I was so excited for her to get to experience the same fun I had, and I think Pete and I still enjoy going much like the kids do. Now Emmy is getting to spend her birthdays here too! In fact, she has had a party here for the past 3 years. I don't even have to ask her what she wants to do because it is always to go to Chuck E. Cheese's, which is totally fine by me!

Now it is time to celebrate Chuck E. Cheese's because it is their 40th birthday!

That is 40 years of EPIC family fun!

To celebrate, Chuck E. and friends have teamed up with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ to attempt A GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title in stores nationwide on May 19. Families are invited to visit their local Chuck E. Cheese’s to be a part of the “Most People Blowing Party Blowers Simultaneously for 10 Seconds” world-record breaking event. Every child that comes in on May 19th will receive a free slice of cake and 40 free tickets, while supplies last, regardless of participation in the record-breaking stunt.

How cool is that! If you are going to join in the fun be sure to arrive 30 minutes before the world-record breaking attempt begins on Friday, May 19th at 8:40 PM EST / 7:40 CST / 6:40 PM MST / 5:40 PST to participate.

You can find more information for the 40th anniversary at www.40yearsoffun.com. There you will find more details on Chuck E. Cheese’s birthday celebrations and enter for a chance to receive special offers.

chuck e cheese party set up

I am planning to bring my whole family and we will also be back later this month for my niece's birthday party! Chuck E. Cheese’s is America’s number one place for birthdays and there is a really great limited time promotion happening there where the birthday start at their hosted birthday parties gets 1,000 tickets! So if you have a birthday coming up for one of your children, this is a great time to have it with Chuck E. Also,  you can reserve a VIP Party and get the whole party area to yourself before the restaurant opens, for 90 minutes!

If you haven't booked a party there lately you will love their online reservation system because it makes it easier than ever to book your child’s birthday party. I set up Emmy's last one online in January and it took me just a couple minutes to do everything! There are also exciting, new birthday party themes you can choose from including: “Party Like a Rock Star,” “Dressed in Pink Party,” “Sports, Sports, Sports” and “Chuck E. Super Fan” making their birthdays bigger and better than ever! Plus their brand new cakes with sweet frosting, rich cake and a splash of excitement with colored sprinkles make the party even more special and delicious! The kids loved the new bigger and better goody bags too! There is so much happening at Chuck E. Cheese's

Even if you don't have a birthday boy or girl at home you will still want to visit your local store for their all NEW Eat & Play Express package, which is rolling out nationally this May!

With the new package, you can Eat & Play in an hour or less! Just visit Monday-Thursday and order the Eat & Play Express package for just $31.99-$32.99, depending on the Chuck E. Cheese’s location. If your pizza does not arrive within 20 minutes you will receive a FREE dessert.

  • The Eat & Play Experience includes:
  • 1 Large 1-Topping Pizza
  • 4 Drinks
  • Two (2) 20-minute Play Pass cards or 45 tokens (for non-Play Pass stores)
  • Chuck E. Cheese Appearance
  • One dessert per order (either the giant chocolate chip cookie or Cinnamon Dessert Pizza, based on availability)

I know so many of us think of Chuck E. Cheese's as a weekend activity because of the ordering, eating, playing, prize counter etc, but with the Eat & Play Express package this is perfect for weekday fun too because you can be in and out in an hour! That is just the right amount for busy days to squish in some good ole' family fun!
