Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less than a week away?

I am so excited! I love holidays and Thanksgiving is one of my favorites. I love all the traditional Thanksgiving food, but I love being together with my family even more. We start our Thanksgiving early in the day with lot's of snacks and a house full of family and friends while we wait for the meal to cook.

We also decorate while we spend time celebrating all that we have to be thankful for.

This year we are starting something new. We will be writing out what we are thankful for on keepsake paper cutouts and then we are going to read them while we eat dinner. It will also make an awesome center piece! I used #HarvestOrange marker to create this #BICMerryMarking project.

BIC Mark-It™permanent markers can make any holiday merry and bright.

Their permanent markers offer 44 vibrant, long lasting colors for endless inspiration! The bold, fade-resistant ink is low odor and acid free (no added acid and no measurable pH) so you don’t need to worry and they are totally family friendly too! You can find BIC Mark-It™ permanent markers available in 36 packs of fine or ultra-fine bold, vibrant colors or the 8 pack of metallic colors.

  1. I’ll have to pick some of these up soon. I love colored pens and your project is the perfect reason to purchase them. Thanks!

  2. I have a set of these markers & love them! It makes it so much easier for me to stay organized & get my craft on at the same time.

  3. I haven’t decorated for Thanksgiving since I’m not hosting it at my house this year, but I love your ideas! Also, I love how colorful these permanent markers are.

  4. I love simple decorations for the holidays! Even so I love BIC Mark-It products! Thanks for the cute idea with those turkey’s! We’ll have to do this.

  6. For Thanksgiving, we always do something centered on nuts. Usually, it’s setting out a bowl of mixed nuts with some sort of centerpiece. Other than that…we don’t do much.
