I have a confession. I love beautifully wrapped presents.
No matter what is in the package or bag, as long as it looks sparkly and bright I will love it! I try to make sure that every gift I give brings a smile to the recipients face before they even get a chance to open it… it makes the whole gift-giving and receiving even more fun!
BIC is encouraging us to keep writing and creating this season with awesome products like BIC Mark-It™permanent markers and BIC’s Month of Merry Marking, which has a ton of inspirational ideas to make the holidays bright… like this project to dress up an ordinary gift bag!
Their permanent markers offer 44 vibrant, long-lasting colors for endless inspiration!
The bold, fade-resistant ink is low odor (this is a HUGE deal to me) and acid-free (no added acid and no measurable pH) so you don’t need to worry and they are totally family-friendly too! You can find BIC Mark-It™ permanent markers available in 36 packs of fine or ultra-fine bold, vibrant colors or the 8 pack of metallic colors. These give you tons of inspiration to spread some joy!
For this project, I’m using the #PlatinumSilver metallic marker.
I love how it sparkles and shines! This is such a fun and easy project that you can do even if you are low on time. After the kids all went to bed I grabbed a cup of hot cocoa, a white gift bag, my BIC Mark-It™ Permanent Markers, and a cookie cutter and I was all set to get working.
The cookie cutter is my secret trick to getting the exact shapes I want.
I have so many cookie cutters for each season and holiday that I can choose the exact one I want to use. For this gift bag, I decided to go with a fun snowflake design. It was so easy and only took a few minutes to complete. I love how it turned out!
That’s it! So easy and stress-free! I had a great evening making this and I think some of my friends would enjoy it too! I nominate my friends Dana, Danielle, Ann and all of you to participate in BIC’s Month of Merry Marking!
