We are more than half way through summer… it’s crazy to think about how fast it’s gone by and I want it to slow down!

Fall is going to be crazy busy for us so I’ve been tempering all the fun during the summer with some simple tips to make sure I keep my energy up!

Planes, trains and automobiles… and swimming too!

Yep, we’ve done it all this summer. The last thing I want is my immune system being anything but 100%…

And that is why tip number 1 is that I’ve been using CVS Air Shield

Tip #2 We’ve also been doing more exercise.

And the girls have been filming more for our YouTube channel while we are getting a workout in. I’m eating better, sleeping more (trying to) and getting up and moving more often.

My job can be pretty sedentary when we are not traveling so I’m making an effort to remember to step away from the computer and get outside. The girls also LOVE to go for hikes so it’s a great way to spend time together too!

Tip #3- I’ve also added in CVS Chewable Hair, Skin & Nails Tablets as a dietary supplement to my life.

All the traveling and changes in temperature and climate can be rough on my body so I’m doing everything I can to help it stay it’s healthiest.

One thing that seems to hold me back is the occasional aches and pains.

It’s mostly headaches, so tip #4 is I carry CVS All Day Pain Relief Tablets with me in my purse. I’ve learned that catching them and treating them early really helps me to get back up and going quickly… and with three kids I have little patience for down time.

I was at a conference in San Diego last weekend with this beautiful view and I was so thankful that I had thought ahead and brought these with me. As soon as I started to feel the familiar pain in my temples I took a tablet and I was feeling better in no time at all!

  • I LOVE Air Shield. I swear by it when we travel, or during the holidays. Isn’t it a lifesaver? (Your other suggestions are great, too!)

  • Sounds like you have had a wonderful summer, I can’t believe it is almost over! I agree having products to keep your immunity up and staying hydrated is key!

  • I always keep a supply of AirShield on hand. I have three kids, a dental practice, and I travel frequently. The last thing I need is to get sick!

  • We fly a lot and could use this when we fly.. We usually get a cold after flying. This christmas we might be flying to the other side of the world being on a plane that long we will need something.

  • I so wish my area had a CVS. I miss the good prices and bargains I would find there. It sucks when one moves away from their favorite stores.

  • I definitely to get more exercise into my weekly routine. Being pregnant my energy is pretty much diminished and I can’t take many supplements. I still my energy, though! There’s much more to come.

  • Great tips! Sometimes drinking a glass of water is all I need to get rid of my fatigue and headache. Then there’s days I live off of painkillers. LOL

  • With an upcoming vacation next week, back to school shopping the following week and a heavy workload, I definitely do not have the time to allow my energy to deplete. I need to get back into taking my usual vitamins and supplements!

  • All great tips, but #7 is my favorite! Yes, it is hot and it is great when we can get outside but we need to remember to take care of ourselves.

  • What great tips. I try to drink extra orange juice and take vitamins during the summer.

  • I ended up sick this week, and it’s put such a damper on summer fun. The kids are looking at me with boredom seeping out of their eye sockets.

  • Keeping the fun going can be so tiring. It’s really important to stay healthy so you can keep your fun going and going.

  • I love that CVS is my one stop shop for everything to help keep my immune system healthy. They offer everything I need with a few extras along the way!

  • Staying hydrated is really important during the summer months especially. A lot of people don’t realize that when they are thirsty then they are already dehydrated. It is important to drink plenty of water in the summer.

  • These are great tips. We make sure to drink lots and lots of water to stay hydrated.

  • I’m trying to savor these last days of summer because I always hate for summertime fun to end. These are all great tips for keeping up energy during the hot days of summer.

  • Ah I do know that pain in the temples feeling. Good to have something that works on hand. And boy you did have a view!

  • Great tips! As the summer goes on seems I’m just losing so much energy. So tired, and its no fun when having kids who want to be on the go all the time!

  • Sunshine always energizes me, so we try to get outside as much as possible! CVS really does have a great selection of summer essentials!

  • Those are great tips. I always keep myself hydrated and I take a nap as much as I can. I need to get into exercise though. Soon. 🙂

  • Staying hydrated in very important living here in Florida. Water does the trick for us!

  • Those chewable hair, skin and nails supplement in the Strawberry Lemonade flavor look like something I wouldn’t mind adding to my regimen. Sadly, CVS is no longer in my area. I am in withdrawal.

  • I have been making sure i eat breakfast every morning. It help me have energy for the day. I eat a small snack a few times a day to keep me going.

  • I love how I planned for a trip to the beach a month ahead of time, 3 days before we hit the road i get hit with some sinus cold thing and BOOM my vacation just got even more exciting lol.

  • What a fun and busy summer! One your daughter will never forget, I”m sure! I’m interested in the Hair, Skin, and Nails. The bottle makes me think the pills are rather small, is that true? I cannot swallow large pills so that keeps me from taking a supplement but I would love to start taking HSN again but only if they are small.
