Maddie here! Halloween time is hands down my favorite time of year, so much so that I’ve put together a list of 31 super spooky shows and movies that you need to watch this October! Now that the nights are cool, we spend many nights together as a family in October watching as many of these as possible with a big bowl of popcorn and mugs of hot chocolate.

This is an awesome Halloween movie list! Now that our kids are getting a bit older, we have been dabbling in some films that are a bit more scary, such as Poltergeist and the Child’s Play series.

My daughter & I just started watching the X Files series on Netflix. Man I forgot how scary it was:)
Lots of great suggestions here. I love all of the Charlie Brown holiday movies but It’s the “Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” is one of my favorite.

We learned about 10 minutes in that Stranger Things was way too mature for our 8 year old the other night so we watched Beetlejuice 🙂
That is a crazy show!
We are in the process of watching all of the Harry Potter films. First we read it and then we have a viewing party with the kids. Can’t wait for the next celebration.
Such a perfect list! My friend and I will be using this list for the rest of the month for sure!
One for every day! My husband and I love holiday movies, but have a horrible habit of starting them too early and running out of options. Loving your list.
