Thanks to Walt Disney World for providing us tickets to the parks so we could experience all the fun!

Heather here!

Today we checked into our new room at the Boardwalk Inn at Walt Disney World (more in that in a separate post coming soon). It is located in the Epcot Resorts area. This means that it is about a 5-minute walk from the entrance to Epcot, so we decided to spend the day there….and we’re so glad we did.

Our visit was right in the middle of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. This is an amazing event because there are stands throughout the World Showcase area with food from featured countries. Most of the food is snack size and very reasonably priced so it was so fun to walk around and sample foods from all around the world. The highlight was a GIANT soft pretzel from Germany.

Emmy, of course, had to try the shaved ice!

My favorite this year was from Greece!

These are the loaded Greek Nachos and are totally VEGAN! They were so good. I’m going to try to recreate them at home because I have been craving them since we left!

We also got to ride the new Frozen Ever After attraction.

We were really impressed. It is a boat ride and so well done featuring all the characters and songs from the movie. Emmy and I sang along and pointed out a lot of different parts from that we loved.

As we were walking back to our room we were greeted with another fireworks display! Such a great day!!!

Emmy was feeling lonely with all her “friends” at home so we bought her a couple to hang out within our suite! Shopping is another one of our favorite things to do at Disney World!

Have you been on the new Frozen attraction?
