20 Of The Best Easter Egg Decorating Ideas

The girls are all excited to decorate eggs this weekend! We've decorated them in a lot of ways over the years.

From using the boxed dye kits to using a white crayon first to write a secret message, we've had a lot of fun making some really unique eggs.

This year we are trying some new ways. We made a list of some really cool ways to decorate Easter eggs.

Emmy wants to try them all. I'm not sure we have that much time, but I'm willing to try.

I think we might even try decorating the fake eggs this year so we can keep them and add them to our memory box.

I was always bummed when the girls would create a really cool looking egg and all we would have is a picture to remember it by. This also helps with trying to figure out what to do with all the eggs after when half of the family doesn't even eat eggs now.

I scoured the internet and I came up with this ultimate collection of Easter egg decorating ideas from some really talented people:

Crackin' Me Up Eggs

Glitter Easter Eggs

Sequin Easter Eggs

Galaxy Easter Eggs

Golden Marbled Easter Eggs

Foiled Eggs

Tye Dye Easter Eggs

Blinged Easter Eggs

DIY Nail Polish Easter Eggs

Glitter and Tissue Eggs

Elegant Eggs

Easter Eggs Silver and Gold

Sprinkled Egg

Easter Egg Bling

Confetti Dipped Eggs

Robin Eggs

Caligraphed Eggs

Paper Flower Eggs

Black and White Eggs

Decopauge Eggs

Gold Foil Tattoo Eggs

Which one of these is your favorite?

  1. My daughter is still a bit young for most crafts, but I’m so excited to bookmark these ready for next year! Easter has never been a big thing for us, but I know she will love all the easter crafts.

  2. I love the robin’s eggs! I am seriously obsessed–and planning to make these tomorrow with my daughter! Aside from being beautiful, these give me the perfect use for that red cabbage sitting in my fridge 🙂

  3. Thanks for the great collection of options for Easter Egg decoration!! I love the foil ones and give them a try this year.
