I am still working my way through my New Year’s resolutions with great results this year. My most exciting resolution was to have a sparkling smile that I can be proud of and I’m so excited to share that I’ve partnered with the Invisalign® brand to make it happen!

2014 felt like the year of getting back on track…

The girls were all at different schools and I was working what felt like non-stop. We were all in a good place, but it felt like we were redefining our new normal, in a really good way. Change is never easy and that goes for setting new healthy habits too. And at the end of the day, I felt like there wasn’t much left for me to give to myself.

2015 has been totally different…

It’s all about refining our new system and enjoying all of our hard work that brought us to this point. With that came a realization that it’s not about having enough time to take care of me, but making time in my schedule that was important, so I made some resolutions at the beginning of the year and I’ve been keeping with them. I know I’m not alone in 2015 being different, because a recent survey conducted by Kelton and sponsored by the makers of Invisalign clear aligners, shows that more women are keeping their resolutions than ever this year!

I know personally that self improvement is hard and that’s why I’m excited about September being Self Improvement Month!

It’s a month to redefine where we want to be in the future and to step up our efforts. I’ve been looking back at my resolutions and some I’ve already met and others I’m still working on, like my smile. I want a better one and I want it soon!

Improving my smile is important to me and I am really excited to be starting a new journey as a spokesperson for Invisalign clear aligners while I am getting treatment for a better smile!

I chose Invisalign clear aligners because they offer discreet teeth straightening without the hassle and embarrassment of traditional wire and bracket braces. I had braces for 4 years when I was a teen, and I can’t imagine wearing them again at this point in my life. Invisalign treatment is a series of virtually invisible, removable aligners that gradually move teeth over time, so hardly anyone even notices when someone is in treatment. With Invisalign clear aligners, an improving smile is on display everyday — no wire or brackets to detract from a confident smile, no interference in professional or personal lives from a mouth full of metal.

Because I’m constantly on the go, I also can’t commit to more visits than are absolutely necessary and Invisalign trained doctors typically provide several sets of clear aligners at each visit, so appointments are kept to a minimum.

I will be starting treatment for my new beautiful smile soon, so please check back in to learn more and follow along on this new adventure with me!

Is having a beautiful smile important to you too?

I have partnered with the Invisalign brand, but all opinions expressed are my own. Full disclosure.

  • Teeth are the first thing I notice about a person. Having a good smile says a lot about someone.

  • I had braces for many years as a youth. I made sure to keep up with my retainer and I still have a great smile 23 years later!!

  • I just wish I had more time. Working long weeks, having a long commute, feeling guilty about not being with my kids all the time, I naturally spend every waking minute playing with my kids after work, then I have my blog, which is about the only thing I have time for right now other than a bit of time for my hubby (that’s very important too!) – ie, no time left for me.

  • Teeth are really what stands out when you first meet someone. I know I need to take better care of my teeth. Invisalign clear aligners may just be the ticket! It’s so important to make some time for yourself among the business of life.

  • This has been an all around self improvement kind of year. I started an completed Invisalign treatment so yes, I would say teeth are very important to me!

  • Absolutely! I totally agree with this post… sparkling teeth are important to me. I’m finally working on my teeth cosmetically {braces at 29! lol} and I’ve never been happier with an investment!

  • A nice smile is so important and it is true it is never too late to hop back in the saddle to accomplish those goals… I know I notice it with other people and have always been a little self conscious about my teeth…. when I have some extra money I am going to look into invisalign!

  • I love to smile. That is why it is important for me to keep my teeth and mouth always with great hygiene. love how you set these goals for yourself.

  • I hate my teeth. I am just not happy with them. Unfortunately, they should have been better taken care of when I was younger but my mom never really took me to the dentist. But I am completely different with my girls. A smile is everything.

  • I think most people like a sparkling smile. My second oldest though, is def. one who takes a lot of pride in his teeth. 🙂

  • It is very important to me too. Not only to me actually, but also for my husband and son. That’s why we make sure not to miss any dentist appointment.

  • I’m bitter about the fact that I had braces for a few years (ages ago) and bottom teeth have literally moced back to how they were pre-braces!! My doctor keeps recommending Invisalign to me!

  • I’ve heard great reviews on Invisalign so you sure are working with the right people. It’s so hard to attain that sparkling perfect smile if you have teeth problems, it’s very important to have them check regularly.

  • I really do love the feeling of a clean mouth. Thanks for sharing that it was self improvement month, I had never heard of that before!

  • Smiles are such an important thing to protect. It’s great to live in a time where there are so many different options available to us for caring for our teeth.

  • Of course, a nice white smile is important. I got lucky with my teeth, my whole family has had braces except me. I am always trying to brush after coffee and whiten when I can afford it. Lol. Can children get the Invisalign?

  • I have never had braces before, but I have heard nothing but good about this company! It’s definitely a wonderful way to ensure a beautiful smile.

  • I want braces so bad. I have always hated my teeth. I agree… teeth are one of the first things I notice about someone. I just feel so selfish spending the money on them.

  • I also think that taking care of our teeth is a very important part of our health. It is the doorway to so many things that enter our body, we have to ensure it is functioning appropriately. Thanks for the great points!
